David Fonteno, who recurs on the acclaimed CBS legal drama, will guest-star on Fox’s Sleepy Hollow as Reverend Boland, TVLine has learned exclusively.

The Reverend is a Catholic Priest living in Manhattan who has seen a lot in his life. It will be revealed that he has been an advisor to Orlando Jones’ Captain Frank Irving for a number of years.

Fonteno — whose other TV credits include Blue Bloods, Royal Pains and Law & Order — will appear in Episodes 9 and 10.

    Looks like they’re really ramping up Orland Jones’ character in the latter half of the season.

      Always wondered about Orlando Jones character. Is he just letting them do their thing because he knows there’s crazy things going on and the crew offers some expilnatons or is he involved deeper in the mystery like Abbie’s old captain?

        I’m going with the “more than he seems hypotheses.” The usual TY trope is for the heroes to be constantly battling with their boss. There were a couple of early bones thrown in that direction, but Capt. Irving has given Lt. Mills a lot of slack I the “John Doe” episode he actively worked with them to get around the CDC quarantine.
