In the installment, Virginia and Burt head to a dude ranch run by Carradine’s Colt Palamino, a no-nonsense, no-outside-world-technology, real deal cowboy. The actor will also sing during the half-hour.

Carradine’s other TV credits include Missing, Damages, Dollhouse and Deadwood, where his on-screen alter ego was killed by Plimpton’s Hope hubby, Garrett Dillahunt.

“It’ll be good to see him. And I’m hoping there’s no leftover hard feelings over his fake brutal murder by my fake husband,” says Plimpton.

Raising Hope returns with back-to-back episodes on Friday, Nov. 15 at 9/8c.

    • Interesting story there. Carradine and Shelly Plimpton were both in the cast of Hair on Broadway. He left the cast and went to California, where he later learned the he had knocked-up Shelly. Martha was four years old when she first met her father Keith.

      • Yeah doesn’t sound like they are close with the “It will be good to see him” comment.

        • I thought they were since they both sued regarding David Carradine’s death. She spoke of her uncle like she was close to him so I thought they were all close.

  • I find it hilarious that Garrett Dillahunt killed him in Deadwood. I hope they make some kind of inside joke about it. I just wish Fox weren’t burning off episodes on Fridays 2 at a time…

  • The MOST underrated show on TV. Dillahunt and Cloris Leachman deserve Emmy nominations every year.

  • I was convinced this was some kind of poor phrasing or something, but no: Keith Carradine really is Martha Plimpton’s dad. Mind. Blown.
