CSI Exclusive: ER's Sherry Stringfield 'Swings' Into Season 14 as New Investigator

CSI Sherry StringfieldFormer ER doc Sherry Stringfield is returning to the procedural realm with a meaty guest stint on CSI, sources confirm to TVLine exclusively.

Stringfield will play Dawn, a likable, blue-collar swing shift CSI who joins Morgan (Elisabeth Harnois) in investigating a serial rapist case. When she’s not at work, Dawn is attempting to manage her son’s addiction issues.

  • Good to see her doing stuff. Not worried in this instance but often when the character description includes ‘likeable’ I tend to be concerned as it seems like they don’t have any other real words to describe someone.

  • She does not have many listed credits since the final episode of ER in 2009. She worked in academia for a bit. Kind of wonder if she’s not all that motivated to be in the grind.
