CSI Exclusive: ER's Sherry Stringfield 'Swings' Into Season 14 as New Investigator

CSI Sherry StringfieldFormer ER doc Sherry Stringfield is returning to the procedural realm with a meaty guest stint on CSI, sources confirm to TVLine exclusively.

Stringfield will play Dawn, a likable, blue-collar swing shift CSI who joins Morgan (Elisabeth Harnois) in investigating a serial rapist case. When she’s not at work, Dawn is attempting to manage her son’s addiction issues.

    Good to see her doing stuff. Not worried in this instance but often when the character description includes ‘likeable’ I tend to be concerned as it seems like they don’t have any other real words to describe someone.

    She does not have many listed credits since the final episode of ER in 2009. She worked in academia for a bit. Kind of wonder if she’s not all that motivated to be in the grind.
