What to Watch Tuesday: Ziva's NCIS Farewell, Buzzy Trophy Wife, Mindy Gets Happy and More
On TV this Tuesday: NCIS‘ Ziva says see ya, trouble percolates for the Trophy Wife, the Sons of Anarchy exact revenge and a Happy Endings vet undertakes The Mindy Project. Here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.
8 pm Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC) | While in Peru investigating an object of unknown origin, Coulson runs into Comandante Camila Reyes (Dallas‘ Leonor Varela), and sparks fly.
8 pm NCIS (CBS) | While Gibbs and the team continue the hunt for Parsa, Tony only has Ziva’s whereabouts on his mind — and seeing as how this is Cote de Pablo’s final episode, he’d better find her, no? Marina Sirtis (Star Trek: TNG) returns as Mossad chief Orli Elbaz. (Read what de Pablo said about leaving the series.)
8 pm Wolfblood (Disney Channel) | Series premiere: This British, live-action series follows 14-year-old Maddy Smith, a kinda-werewolf who learns that the new boy at school shares her secret.
8:30 pm Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Fox) | As Jake tries to winnow down his slew of unsolved cases, the other detectives fear his losing streak will rub off on them.
9 pm NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS) | Peter Cambor returns as shrink Nate Getz, whom Hetty calls in to help Sam and Deeks deal with their traumatic experience.
9 pm Face Off (Syfy) | Send in the (really disturbing) clowns: The contestants create circus characters with help from Cirque Berzerk. Change the channel now, coulrophobics.
9:30 pm Trophy Wife (ABC) | Kate’s bid for more responsibility with the kids backfires when Bert drinks her coffee before soccer practice and turns into an insane-o on the field.
9:30 pm The Mindy Project (Fox) | Casey is back from Haiti! (Yay!) But he’s having an identity crisis and thinks he might want to be a DJ. (Weird!) Meanwhile, Jeremy hires a new doctor (new series regular Adam Pally, Happy Endings) who — surprise, surprise — rubs Mindy the wrong way.
10 pm Sons of Anarchy (FX) | An attack at the compound leads SAMCRO to seek revenge.
10 pm Chicago Fire (NBC) | Severide’s under a lot of pressure: He knows he has to confront Renee about his paternity suspicions, but he’s also worried about the next attack by the firehouse’s arsonist. (May I suggest some shirtless weightlifting to ease your stress, Kelly?)
COMING NEXT TUESDAY: The Biggest Loser and Supernatural return. The Originals makes its regular time-slot premiere.
