• Go On alumna Laura Benanti is Elementary-bound. Per TV Guide Magazine, the actress — who’ll next appear in NBC’s live Sound of Music production — will play a nanny who becomes the prime suspect in her boss’ death.

• Nikita EP Albert Kim is staying in business with The CW with a new female-centered project. Per The Hollywood Reporter, the producer, along with Eva Longoria’s UnbeliEVAble Entertainment, will helm a drama for the network. Kim’s latest endeavor centers on a woman who, after being wrongly imprisoned, earns her law degree and goes after the firm that she believes framed her.

Scott Wolf (Party of Five) has booked a four-episode arc on The Night Shift, NBC’s midseason medical drama, per EW.com. He’ll play a trauma surgeon.
