This series — which premieres Sunday, March 9 at 10/9c and stars House vet Omar Epps — asks the provocative question, “What happens when the people you have mourned and buried suddenly appear on your doorstep as if not a day’s gone by?” The lives of the people of Arcadia, Missouri are forever changed when their deceased loved ones return.

Little is known about Tupper’s Dr. Eric Ward character, save for that he shares a past with Maggie (played by Devin Kelley).

Tupper’s other TV credits include Men In Trees, Samantha Who?, and, more recently, Revenge (on which he continues to recur).

  1. Phillip says:

Will he be back on Revenge this season and if so, when?

  2. Sam says:

Is this actually an adaptation of that French hit series based on a movie ‘Les Revenants’?

    • Brittany says:

I believe this is an adaptation of a book called “the returned”. I think the author’s name is Jason Mott or something along those lines.

    • Lili says:

I thought exactly the same thing ! The plot is quite similar to the French series Les Revenants (aka The Returned in the UK). It takes place in a remote place in the French Alps, next to a dam, and starts with a coach accident. I saw it when it aired on Canal Plus and it really is SCARY ! Canal Plus is our HBO and they produce really good stuff… It will be interesting to compare it to the American series…

  3. Tony says:

I love these high concept shows. Even when they don’t work out, I appreciate the attempt.

  4. the girl says:

I am really looking forward to this show.

  5. Oh man, that picture made me think it was the same guy who played Fauxlivia’s boyfriend/fiance. Close resemblance!
