House of Lies Recruits Happy Endings' Eliza Coupe For 'Wild' Season 3 Role

Eliza coupe house of liesHappy Endings alum Eliza Coupe is forging a new beginning on House of Lies.

Coupe is joining the Showtime comedy’s third season in a recurring role, the cabler announced Thursday.

Coupe will play Marissa, a wild-child Internet company head and heir to a wealthy media family.

The busy actress will juggle Lies with her other new day job as Will Arnett’s ex-wife on CBS’ The Millers.

Coupe joins fellow Season 3 rookie Mekhi Phifer, who was cast last month as a mogul looking to help Don Cheadle’s Marty grow his empire.

House of Lies‘ third season is set to premiere on Jan. 12 at 10/9c.

  • Yes! This is the perfect show for her. Once Millers gets cancelled, which it will, she should be a regular.

  • Her comedy has that perfect edge of dark cynicism to suit this show. Definitely looking forward to seeing how they use her.
