bethany joy lenz csiNew evidence has come to light regarding CSI‘s upcoming 300th episode, and it points to a guest appearance by Bethany Joy Lenz.

TVLine has learned exclusively that the One Tree Hill alumna has signed on to guest star in the milestone outing as a sexy, seemingly normal-looking mother of two (think soccer mom with an edge).

Episode 300 — slated to air on Oct. 23 and featuring a return appearance by CSI vet Marg Helgenberger— centers on a cold case that “takes our characters back to the beginning,” executive producer Don McGill recently revealed to TVLine. “They have to investigate a murder with the same M.O. and the same suspect from 14 years ago.”

Lenz recently concluded a multi-episode arc on the final season of Dexter.

  1. Ashley says:

Amazing! I’d love to see her get more roles outside of the mother role, but it’s just great to see her getting these guest spots. Hopefully a series regular is somewhere in her future. Love her.

  2. Lalala says:

She’s an incredible actress, I’m glad she’s being used in more stuff. My only hope it that she soon gets her own show, again

  3. brycealexander says:

She needs to join a show as a steady supporting cast member

  4. yayyy for Joy back on the TV after Dexter in a series as legendary as CSI and important episode in the history of TV, is rare for a series to reach so much episodes and it’s great that she’ll be part of it

  5. Shannon says:

I’ve loved Joy since her days on Guiding Light. I will definitely be watching this episode just for her!

  6. bend22 says:

I think she have enough charisma to play “dead hooker n°3”.

  7. Azerty says:

So disappointed she didn’t last on Dexter, she should have had a more important role because I love her. Anyway good for her!

  8. GuestHere says:

CSI will certainly mark its 300 episode–3 main characters gone–Grissom, Warrick, and now Nick Stokes–yes, indeed, CBS-CSI is going to have a great ‘flashback’ episode. Even FBI special agent Catherine Willows wont be able to save the show. What has happened to the great writing, production, & directing of seasons 1-9? Oh, forgot, once Petersen left, CSI lost its ensemble. They wanted a “Star”! And now they sing praises of ‘guest stars’ who are on screen for 3-4 minutes before ending up dead and forget those who stayed around–fans and actors alike.

  9. Bethany Joy Lenz better have her own series sometime in the near future.

  10. Cherry says:

CSI needs to end. It’s ran it’s course and it’s obvious that even the main actors are tired of it. Also, someone give Bethany a regular role again!

  11. Joey says:

Glad she’s getting more work, she’a a great actress. Glad some of OTH cast is and has come back to tv.

  12. What's next! says:

I’m glad she’s landed another guest spot. I really hope she finds a home on an established show soon as a series regular. She’s a fantastic actress.

  13. Mel says:

Seriously, give this woman a real show. We just got a little taste of her on Dexter. Was so disappointed she wasn’t on longer.
