Homeland Season 3 Teaser: Where's Brody?

The newest (nearly visual-free) teaser for the third season premiere of Showtime’s Homeland makes it seem as though Nicholas Brody has managed to stay hidden since we last saw him heading north.

But just how well he’s doing? That remains classified.

As Showtime previously revealed, the Emmy winning drama’s third season picks up “during the aftermath of the horrific terror attack that decimated the U.S. intelligence apparatus, and prompted a global manhunt for the world’s most wanted terrorist — Nick Brody. As Carrie and Saul begin to pick up the pieces of their shattered professional and personal lives, they are swept up in the political and media firestorm surrounding the terror attack and the subsequent search for Brody’s whereabouts.”

Press PLAY on the video below to hear a bunch of audio clues to the drama’s upcoming third season. Take a listen — we’re intrigued by the phrases “Does Carrie know I’m here?,” “I just need to get my strength back” and the weary, echoing “Survive” at the end of the clip — then hit the comments with your predictions about the series’ Sept. 29 return (9/8c).

  • Can’t wait. I hope we see more of Peter and Carrie together… I love those two. Peter has to be my favorite from last season. Looking forward to this upcoming season.

  • Hope Brody survives throughout much of Season Three in order to clear his name and find the person responsible for the CIA bombing at the end of Season Two and it’s going to be a showdown between Brody and Quinn (Rupert Friend). BTW, don’t know if Mike Faber is coming back this upcoming season now that Diego Klattenhoff is off doing The Blacklist on NBC.

    • Carrie and Saul will be the ones finding out who is responsible for the CIA bombing. Brody might be cleared but most Americans are going to still view him as a traitor, his life living in the US is most likely over.

  • There were so many ridulously impossible happenings in last season, I can’t imagine how the writing will be for season 3. Examples: Carrie dashing into the tunnel and miraculously finding Nazir when the experts overlooked his hiding place; Brody being allowed to park his car with explosives so close to the Pentagon.
