Revolution Recruits Soul Food's Nicole Ari Parker

Revolution Season 2 Cast Nicole Ari ParkerSoul Food‘s Nicole Ari Parker has been tapped for a recurring role on NBC’s Revolution.

Parker will play Secretary Justine Allenford, our sister site Deadline reports.

The vague details we have right now indicate that the character is bright and a good leader.

Parker was Soul Food‘s Teri Joseph for all five seasons of the Showtime series. Her recent projects include NBC’s failed pilot The Secret Lives of Husbands and Wives and ABC’s The Deep End.

Revolution returns for its second season on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 8/7c.

  • Sounds like she’s a change from the scheming and evil leaders we’ve met so far, and I’m wondering if she’s attached to the Gitmo group.
