Mindy Project Exclusive: Happy Endings' Adam Pally Joins Season 2 Cast for Big Arc

According to sources, the actor will play a new doctor at the OB/GYN practice where Mindy Kaling’s titular hot mess works.

Pally’s casting follows news that his Happy Endings co-star Damon Wayans Jr. is rejoining the cast of Fox’s New Girl as Coach. (Ironically, both will be back in the same Tuesday/9-10 block that ultimately killed Happy Endings.)

    • Yes, give us some Abed/Robin (Abin?) lovin’! He’ll need a distraction with Troy MIA for half the season or more.

  • So if Mary Tyler Moore married and divorced Steven Tyler, than married and divorced Michael Moore, than got into a 3 way lesbian marriage with Mandy Moore and Demi Moore, would she go by the name of Mary Tyler Moore Tyler Moore Moore Moore?

  • This makes the cancelation hurt a little less. I’m surprised Eliza Coupe hasn’t been added to anything yet, she was the best part of the show!

  • Excellent news, love Adam Pally, and love The Mindy Project.

Buuuuuuuuuuut…. Does that show need more workplace characters, really? They barely know what to do with the ones they have. They’ve already got James Franco doing 2 episodes as a new OBGYN too.

  • Clearly the Jewish casting directors and producers picked the ugliest Indian girl they could find (there are a lot of hot Indian actress girls who are out of work and 1000% times funnier) in order to punish India for siding with Iran in their oil sanctions.
