On TV this Tuesday: The Game resumes play, So You Think You Can Dance sends a pair packing, Perception looks for little green men and Amy Schumer will never forget her first… season. As a supplement to TVLine’s features (linked within), here are eight programs to keep on your radar.
8 pm So You Think You Can Dance (Fox) | The season’s first two dancers are sent home.
8 pm Pretty Little Liars (ABC Family) | A new police detective (played by Nip/Tuck‘s Roma Maffia) investigates the Liars’ possible connection to Wilden’s death.
9 pm Twisted (ABC Family) | Jo sees a sleepover as an opportunity to get closer to Regina’s friends.
10 pm Perception (TNT) | Moretti and Pierce find something intriguing when they investigate an alleged alien abduction. (A pile of Reese’s Pieces?)
10 pm Chopped (Food Network) | The series’ second teen competition asks adolescents to make an appetizer with tuna and cereal, and to use their fledgling butchery skills during the entrée round.
10 pm The Game (BET) | Midseason premiere: Tasha attempts to salvage her friendship with Pookie; Jason and Chardonnay have it out.
10:30 pm Being Mary Jane (BET) | This 90-minute TV-movie — which tees up an eight-episode series to bow in 2014 — stars Gabrielle Union (FlashForward) as a successful TV news anchor who’s trying to figure out how to get what she really wants. Richard Roundtree (Soul Food), Tika Sumpter (The Haves and the Have Nots) and B.J. Britt (One Tree Hill) co-star.
10:30 pm Inside Amy Schumer (Comedy Central) | Season finale: Amy wakes up in bed with two guys, and competes on a reality show. (Yep, renewed.)
