The series centers on a son (Eli Baker) who idolizes his blind father (J.K. Simmons) and enjoys his mom’s (Elfman) newfound adolescence after his folks divorce and, ultimately, grow closer.

Posey dropped out of the project shortly after it was ordered to series.

  • It doesn’t sound all that great, but I may give it a sample watch.
J.K. Simmons can be likable and Jenna Elfman has proved that she can play “adult adolescents” in the past (D’harma)

But overall, I don’t think it will fly.

  • Hope Jenna Elfman aka D’harma from D’harma and Greg is going to have another failed TV series on NBC, the same network that recently pulled the plug on Elfman’s other series 1600 Penn.

    • That’s kind of a sh*tty thing to wish on a person – any person – I don’t care who it is. May the universe return your sentiments in kind. Douche.

  • I liked her in 1600 Penn and was hoping she’d get another show, though I was wishing for a more established show rather than a new one.

  • this DOA by the time it premieres. When was the last time that a mid-season comedy lasted for more that 2 seasons in NBC anyway?
