Psych Season 8 Cast Cary ElwesPsych is bringing Cary Elwes back for Season 8.

TVLine has learned that the Princess Bride fave will reprise his role as the always elusive Pierre Despereaux in the USA Network comedy’s upcoming run.

Per the cabler’s official description of Elwes’ latest guest spot (which is just too Brit-tastic not to include), the “always brilliant chap… proves to be a well of mystery as he weaves through enthralling kerfuffles, chock full of daft chaps, codswallop and smashing twists and turns that’ll leave your knickers in a knot.”

The O.B. (original Buffy, of course) Kristy Swanson is also slated to return to Psych as Marlowe.
