Over in Dixie land, meanwhile, Bluebell heartthrob Wilson Bethel will take the stage during the CW charmer’s ATX showing, which also includes showrunner Leila Gerstein and Scott Porter.

And while Community is not one of the series featured at the festival, the sitcom’s creator Dan Harmon will be in attendance — with Rob Schrab (The Sarah Silverman Program) — to chat up their various ventures, including the cult comedy pilot Heat Vision and Jack and the monthly LA-area short film festival Channel 101.

Taking place in Austin, Texas, from June 6-9, the weekend-long ATX Festival celebrates outstanding television of the past, present and future. Screenings and Q&As take center stage, but unlike many other festivals, ATX fosters an an intimate environment in which attendees can interact with the industry folks — of both the on- and off-screen variety — they most admire. Interesting. That was the first Morgan. Who only lasted like a two seasons of Boy Meets World, before they took a break and recast with a older actress.

    • purplepjs says:

Glad I’m not the only one to notice that. I honestly liked her better than Morgan 2.0…I always thought she was kind of bratty.

    • Thea says:

The original Weasel. Loved the chemistry she had with Will! Would have been cool to see her grow up like we did with the rest of the gang.

  2. didi says:

Does that mean I should be less worried about Hart of Dixie? I mean, they are not going to cancel a show in may if they have plans to promote it in june, right? I know the event is to celebrate television from the past and present, but I want to believe it’s safe…

    • Jason says:

Uh, Didi….you’re a little late to the party, hon. Hart of Dixie is going NOwhere. Good grief. In fact, it’s now looking like even The Carrie Diaries will get more episodes. This spring angst among fans every year is hilarious. Are you still fretting about Supernatural, too?

  3. Jared says:

Hart of Dixie seems pretty safe to me. The shows remained steady all season long and im expecting a renewal along with Nikita and Beauty & the Beast in May.

  4. Kelli says:

Wilson Bethel is the BEST thing Hart of Dixie has going for it. He really is a good actor and I’m surprised we haven’t seen him in more.
