What to Watch Friday: The Vegas Drought Ends, Andy Richter and RuPaul Get Happy and More

VegasOn TV this Friday: Vegas rolls the dice again, Touch reunites Kiefer Sutherland with a CTU boss, Spartacus wants a home where the Romans don’t roam and Happy Endings introduces Penny’s universe-controlling dad. As a supplement to TVLine’s original features (linked within), here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.

8 pm Nikita (The CW) | Michael learns of a prosthetic hand that could return him to his old self (yay!) — but it comes with a steep price (boo). Elsewhere, Alex and Sean try to figure out who inside Division is plotting a bloody mutiny.

8 pm Undercover Boss (CBS) | Fatburger CEO Andy Wiederhorn dons a disguise and works in one of his fast-food franchise locations.

8 pm Happy Endings (ABC) | Back-to-back episodes: Max gets great gossip about Jane and Alex during a cut from the Kerkovitch sisters’ long-time hairdresser (played by Drag Race host RuPaul), and Penny reunites with her estranged dad (played by Conan sidekick Andy Richter).

8:30 pm Jessie (Disney Channel) | Jessie nabs a role in an outdoor production of Shakespeare but ends up switching personalities – Freaky Friday-style — with wee Zuri. (Watch a video sneak peek.)

PREVIEW | Grimm Video – The Gang Suspects a Slick Lawyer of Jury Hijinks… and Toad Licking?!

9 pm Vegas (CBS) | Time-slot premiere: Sheriff Lamb and FBI Agent Byrne clash when the G-man stops Lamb from pressing charges against a pimp in order to get info on Savino. Anna Camp (The Good Wife) returns as Hollywood starlet Violet, who catches Dixon’s eye. (Get scoop from Jason O’Mara.)

9 pm Spartacus: War of the Damned (Starz) | In the series’ penultimate episode, Spartacus aims to secure a bargaining chip he can use against the Romans.

9 pm Touch (Fox) | Martin tracks a bloody path to Guillermo, who is stalking Dr. Nell Plimpton – whom we met in the pilot and who’s one of the righteous “36.” Meanwhile, Jake uses a cipher to locate Amelia. Mykelti Williamson (Justified, 24) guest-stars.

9:30 pm Phineas and Ferb (Disney Channel) | Keeping with tonight’s Freaky Friday-inspired slate, the gang swaps bodies with alien tourists. Jaime Pressly (My Name Is Earl) lends her voice to the episode.

  • I hope Vegas does better as a lead in for Blue Bloods! I absolutley love this show and don’t want to see it cancelled. Maybe Friday will be a good spot for it. Blue Bloods is my only Friday must see except for Vegas now.

  • I absolutely cannot wait for Nikita! Laura Prudom from the Huffington Post stated that this is a crazy game-changer and possibly the best episode of the season. Between the stuff with Michael’s hand and the mutiny in Division, it looks like the world of Nikita is about to be shaken up yet again.

  • I love Happy Endings but I’m not sure I buy Andy Richter as Penny’s dad considering he is only 14 years older than Casey Wilson.

    • And Estelle Getty was a year younger than Bea Arthur and won awards. Why do people keep having a problem with such things?

    • I’ve read that they’ll address the age issue in the episode, mentioning that Andy was super young when he became a father.

    • Happy Endings will most likely be safe now. Either ABC will keep it, or USA is likely to swoop in and save.

  • You forgot to mention “XIII” on Reelz ! This show is a lot like the Bourne series of movies, and stars Stuart Townsend. It airs at 10PM and repeats at 11 PM.
