Boy Meets World, FNL, Scandal, Hart of Dixie Casts Set to Headline the 2013 ATX Festival

Boy Meets World ReunionAs Disney Channel readies its buzzy Girl Meets World spin-off, the beloved cast of Boy Meets World will come together for their first-ever reunion at the 2nd Annual ATX Television Festival.

Taking place in Austin, Texas from June 6-9, the weekend-long event celebrates outstanding television past, present and future. In typical festival fashion, screenings and Q&As will be all the rage. But what sets ATX apart is an intimate environment in which attendees can interact with the industry folks — both onscreen and off — they admire most.

Set to grace the stage alongside Boy Meets World creator Michael Jacobs is the Boy himself, Ben Savage (Cory Matthews), as well as Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter), Matt Lawrence (Jack Hunter) and Maitland Ward (Rachel McGuire).

Boy Meets World ripped away my childhood and ruined me as an adult. Wait, reverse that,” Strong joked in a statement Thursday. “I’m so happy to be a part of ATX Television Festival. Boy Meets World was a magical time in my life and it’s incredibly satisfying to know that it still resonates with people.”

Leading lady Danielle Fishel (Topanga Matthews), meanwhile, is unable to attend due to a prior commitment. However, a few yet-to-be-announced World-related guests will also be taking part in the reunion, so stay tuned for additional updates.
