Hot in Cleveland Exclusive: Jesse Tyler Ferguson Joining Mary Tyler Moore Show Reunion Episode

jesse-tyler-ferguson-hot-in-clevelandThere’s something of a triangle forming on Hot in Cleveland, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson is at the center of it.

The Modern Family star has been cast in the TVLand comedy’s upcoming Mary Tyler Moore Show reunion episode as a world-renowned, avant garde director with whom Wendie Malick’s Victoria would kill to work. The only catch? Ferguson’s eccentric, esoteric character — who speaks in intellectual terms about obscure movies — decides that it’s a different Cleveland resident who’s got a face the cameras would love.

As mentioned earlier this week by TVLine, the leading ladies of MTMMary Tyler Moore, Valerie Harper and Cloris Leachman — will join Cleveland‘s Betty White and Georgia Engel as members of their respective characters’ bowling team, named GLOB: The Gorgeous Ladies of Bowling.

Hot in Cleveland returns to TVLand for Season 4 this June; Ferguson’s episode is tentatively slated to air sometime in August.

Excited about Ferguson’s addition to the star-studded episode? Sound off in the comments!

Yikes. This is likely to air after Valerie’s death…I am so glad they’re getting the gang together for one last run.

If only Ed Asner and Gavin Macleod could be in it!

She ain’t dead yet people. Mourn afterwords, you can die before her. She can get hit by a train before they film. Life is only worth living because of death.
