I absolutely love this actress. She was wonderful on the last couple of seasons of Third Watch and as Dr. Faye Miller on Mad Men. The Good Wife’s casting department continues doing an absolutely flawless job, really happy to see the great Cara Buono join the ranks of the show’s impressive line-up of guest stars.

  2. SJ says:

Well she hasn’t guested on Castle yet. ;) Her episode airs in ten days.

Oh, this is also the episode where Mamie Gummer reappears. Looking forward to it, I love both actresses!

  3. Nero theTVFiddler says:

Cara has a bright future – her turn as Dr. Faye on Mad Men was outstanding. Mad Men does so much with just phone calls between the characters. That final phone call between Don and Dr. Faye [S4] – heartbreaking and devastating.

Much like the final phone call between Don and Suzanne [S3], and the recent call between Betty [when she discovers she has a thyroid condition – S5] and Don, there’s a lot that comes across in those phone calls. Fear, hope, anguish, disappointment, resignation, hopelessness, push forward and [try to] forget. Mad Men.
