Penned by Garcia and to be directed by James Burrows, the multi-cam project follows Jack, a recently divorced guy (Arnett) whose life gets more complicated when his parents (Beau Bridges and Margo Martindale) have marital problems of their own.

Rapaport will play the husband of Jack’s sister Debbie (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Mary Elizabeth Ellis).

The cast also includes JB Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm) as Jack’s best bud Deweyne.

The gig marks a reunion for Rapaport and Garcia, who worked together on My Name is Earl (where Rapaport recurred as Earl’s incarcerated pal, Frank).

  6. Kevin says:

I’ve only seen him in War at Home, which imo was a REALLY funny show that. He was great on that imo :)

  7. dude says:

i like him in everything. His best was being on Prison Break and great in War at Home plus on Friends

  8. Bob says:

If I were Comcast, I’d intentionally renew “Up All Night”, even with its new format, just to screw with CBS and this pilot.

  9. Thilia says:

TV needs to realize that they should never hire him or Megan Mullally if they want a show to survive. Bother are cursed.
