Based on the Argentine series Mujeres Asesinas, the project follows Molly Parker, the only woman among the notoriously male Texas Rangers. Described as a ballsy, beautiful badass, Molly knows how to get to the truth and isn’t afraid to ruffle a few feathers to do so.

Trucco will play Molly’s older brother, Billy, who is married to her BFF Nessa (played by Marta Milans). The actor’s recent TV credits include arcs on Revenge, How I Met Your Mother and Castle, and a co-starring role on USA Network’s Fairly Legal.

Also new to the Killer Women ensemble, which also previously cast Mark Blucas (Necessary Roughness), is Alex Fernandez (Commander in Chief), playing Molly’s coworker Luis.

  • Is Marc Blucas leaving Necessary Roughness? The Season Finale gave no indication the character was leaving and the show was picked up for a third season.

    • Picked up for only 10 episodes though, and it traditionally airs at a different time than network shows. Maybe he was able to do both, or maybe they know something about Necessary Roughness’ future after season 3 that the rest of us don’t know.

  • Love Tricia and Michael. Not a fan of Marc Blucas, though. Riley was the most boring character from all of the Buffyverse.

    • SO wrong about Marc he was by far the best and sexist on Buffy and anything else, are you blind have you seen his body?

  • “mujeres asesinas”(killer women) was about murder cases from the murder POV,that the only thing in common were that all of the murderer were women.

  • Oh, I WILL be watching this. Seems like an awful waste to cast him as her BROTHER though…those two people have smoking hot chemistry. Also, I love Marc Blucas.
