Two and a Half Men: Scott Bakula CastTV’s erstwhile Quantum Leaper is about to jump into the middle of a Two and a Half Men romance.

TVLine has learned that Scott Bakula will guest-star on the long-running CBS comedy as Jerry, a Cal Worthington-like auto dealership tycoon who gets dropped into “half-man” Jake’s ever-evolving love life in a surprising way.

Bakula’s episode is set to air Thursday, April 4.

After TNT’s Men of a Certain Age wrapped, Bakula has appeared on Desperate Housewives and a November 2012 episode of Law & Order: SVU. His prior TV credits include Chuck, The New Adventures of Old Christine and, of course, Star Trek: Enterprise.

    • Lmao just noticed you referenced it in the beginning. Never mind the outrage

      • The story is only four sentences long, and the reference to Quantum Leap are the THIRD and FOURTH WORDS of the article!

  • Oh, Scott, how far you have sunk. You’re better than this, man. It’s okay though. You’ll still remain my longest-standing 21-year crush. I will always miss Quantum Leap.

  • If a CHUCK movie happens…I hope one of the number one priorities is having Scott Bakula return and reprise his role as Orion. It is one of my main things I want to see happen and why we definitely need a #ChuckMovie

    • A ‘Chuck’ movie??? Are you serious? HBO’s ‘Deadwood’ movie will be made before a ‘Chuck’ movie gets made.

  • This isn’t sinking. It’s a role, a role is a role, Scott is going to get a big fat paycheck, and will probably land a pilot this year. Judy Greer was also on 2.5 men. It’s a crappy show, but I would catch up for them if it was earlier in its run.

  • Is it me, or is Scott Bakula starting to look more like Barry Manilo?

    • Uhhhhh, no. No one looks like Barry Manilow except Barry Manilow.
