      • “a gifted young girl” (a boy in Touch) “a man tasked with protecting her from the evil elements that hunt her power” the boy’s father in Touch. ” a mysterious billionaire with an even more mysterious agenda.” the corporation going after the boy and his father.

        • Actually it’s totally a Firefly ripoff: A gifted young girl (River) protected by a criminal (Her brother Simon, or Captain Mal, take your pick) and on the run from the dangerous and wealthy evil forces who want to use her power (the government).

  • Alfonso Cuaron is writing the script? Gentlemen, you had my curiosity, but now you have my attention.
    .
Also, I really hope no matter what happens with this show, Kyle Maclachlan still makes time for appearances as the Mayor of Portland on Portlandia. What would Portlandia fans do without our dear kooky Mayor? Kyle Maclachlan makes everything better.
