      • The show hasn’t started yet which means you’ve got 3 hrs+ to go. It’s time to break out the vino! :)

  • Yep, that’s Jacki Weaver, though she probably prefers if you keep the caption the way it is.

  • And Joseph Gordon-Levitt posted a picture of Sally Fields tying his bow-tie! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=548680921822243&set=a.192553260768346.47041.192551487435190&type=1

  • Looks like I would’ve been much better off watching the E! coverage. What I watched of ABC’s was agonizing.

  • When Kristin Chenoweth was talking to Catherine Zeta Jones, then turned to Michael Douglas and said “and who are you?” Cringe worthy.

Comment by Marie – February 24, 2013 05:35 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
  • To be fair Kristen Chenoweth is REALLY tiny. She isn’t just a skinny girl…she’s TINY.

Comment by Josh – February 24, 2013 05:41 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • The thing I found most distracting with Kristen Chenowith was how often she mentioned her size. I love her and think she is super talented, but everyone can see her petit stature, I am not sure why she brought it up in every interview.

  • I hate Ryan Seacrest doing the red carpet. I like the rest of the E! red carpet, just get rid of him.

Comment by Sarah – February 24, 2013 05:54 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • Love Ryan Seacrest. His class is desperately needed at E News, and anywhere he appears.

Comment by Julee – February 24, 2013 06:32 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • Seconded. I just don’t think he’s that good at red carpets: he tends to accidentally insult or ignore people, and he doesn’t react in ways that encourage good interview banter. All of the other red carpet interviewers did a better job than he did.

  • Worst Oscar opening since Rob Lowe danced with Snow White looked like the first meeting to bounce ideas. Unbelievable, that no one in 5 months?…couldn’t make something better out of that mess like editing at least half of it out. Seth is a talented guy but it’s like someone set him up for disaster accepting every idea when one or two of the best should have been chosen.Truly painful to watch. Try Amy Poehler or Hugh Jackman, Ellen…

  • Scandal is not the hottest show on television. Seriously, relax. It was a stupid interview on E!.

Comment by Laquisha – February 24, 2013 06:32 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • Also, the Oscars are for movies, not TV plugs.

      • What network are the Oscars on?

See, Kerry is being a good company girl.

    • I’m sorry, Laquisha, can you tell us what is? Maybe they should have said “new show”, Laquisha. Would that have helped?

  • did anyone see that guy try to pull away the Oscar winner as he was giving his acceptance speech? What happened to music being played in the background to get actors off the stage?

Comment by Allyson – February 24, 2013 06:50 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
  • SCANDAL is definitely the HOTTEST show on network television right now.

  • Boring GOO I’d say. That’s it – that’s all I dropped in to share.

  • Host was seldom funny and a few times crass. He, writers and producer are all to blame.
    Hopefully none will be back.
As for awards this show has become nothing more than entertainment and ads, as an award show it is a waste of time. But then so are all the others on TV.

  • “Nope, E!, that wasn’t Viola Davis. It was that other black actress, Octavia Spencer.” HAHAHAHA

  • Did the Chenoweth/Adele interview remind anyone else of Gandalf & Frodo?

Comment by Jeremy – February 25, 2013 09:43 AM PDT  Reply To This Post
  • E!’s coverage sucked this year. Is there a reason they cut out an hour early to go sit with the girls in the newsroom? Seacrest, if you don’t want to do it anymore, don’t even bother. For once, ABC’s red carpet coverage was much better.

Comment by Tamara – February 25, 2013 08:48 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • I totally agree that it looked like Seacrest just stopped covering the red carpet. Why wasn’t the rest of E out there like they used to? And did anyone see how Catherine Zeta Jones wanted to show off her nails and rings in the nail cam and he ignored her? He needs to step up or quit.

  • Strangest moment was seeing the band in a separate building, presumably with their sound being transmitted to the hall. Seemed wrong that Adele managed to get a band on stage whilst Dame Shirley, who inevitably sings with a band, had to sing with the piped music. Even semi-retired and well into her 70s DSB can certainly turn it on.

  • Why did they stop interviewing stars after a while!? They just talked about clothes mostly. It was so annoying!

  • The woman next to Ryan Seacrest is Minako Nakano

Comment by DT – February 26, 2013 12:19 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
  • That woman is one of Japan’s top celebrities, way above any cheap ass show like E!. Who’s bombing who now?

Comment by the douche – February 27, 2013 04:54 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
  • Her name, Minako Nakano. December 14, 1979 (33 years old). Japanese.
She is really the narrative is poor, her work work program announcer.
She is a graduate of the University. However, she is famous. “Ignorance” It.
