The project, penned by author/journalist Lisa Takeuchi Cullen and exec-produced by Frank Marshall (War Horse, The Bourne Legacy) and Larry Shuman (Devious Maids), centers on the son (played by Boardwalk Empire‘s Charlie Cox) of a Kennedy-esque family who leaves the priesthood and becomes a lawyer to prevent his politician sister from being assassinated.

Garcia will play Carlos, the law firm’s staff investigator — a.k.a. (at least to Good Wife fans) the “Kalinda” of the group.

  • I can’t see him in a serious role… He’s just too cute and cuddly…

  • Love Jorge. He can do it. Kalinda isn’t always serious either.

  • I can’t stand lawyer shows, so no!

    • I agree! There are far too many lawyer, procedural, doctor, and “reality” shows on TV! Can’t we get something else? Heck a used car salesman exconvict looking to be redeemed would be far better then a ex-priest lawyer.

Also why does he have to be an ex-priest? Couldn’t he just not preach?

  • Perry Mason’s Paul Drake or Matlock’s Tyler or Conrad given the gender would have been better comparisons. If that makes me too old then how about the investigator on Made in Jersey?

As for the casting, he fits better than Dan Roebuck…

  • Are you forgetting how great he was in the short-lived Alcatraz series? And i really liked him in last week’s California episode. He can do about any role.

By ‘male kalinda’ I thought you meant openly pansexual…cause that would be awesome
