• Erstwhile Spice Girl Mel B (aka the “scary” one) will replace departing judge Sharon Osbourne on America’s Got Talent‘s eighth season. Production on the upcoming cycle begins with auditions in New Orleans on March 4, where B will make her debut (and possibly zig-a-zig ahhh.)

  1. Tran says:

Timberlake must save SNL. So excited on March 9th and it’s definitely a can’t miss. :-)

  2. Josh Emerson says:

Ugh I hate seeing Mel B join AGT. I would much rather see her on X Factor UK. She’s a great judge.

  3. Lanie says:

JT should be required host at least once a month! Heck, just make it permanent! It is always funny when he is on. Any other time…not so much.

  4. Billy says:

Justin Timberlake on SNL and Mel B on America’s Got Talent…this of its the best news either of these shows could ask for…I’m actually looking forward to these now!!!

    • Lili Ann says:

Or the American version of “The X Factor”. Mel B is (was?), right now, the hottest property of the franchise worldwide. She is great on the Australian version, but she killed it on the British one. She’ll be way better than Sharon Ousborne.

  5. Lenon says:

Never even watched AGT, but now that Mel B is on it I will! xD

  6. Mike says:

    Finally a good snl host.

  7. it’s his fifth time hosting. maybe we’ll see a Fifth Timers Club sketch like they did with Tom Hanks when he hosted for the fifth time.

  8. Lorena says:

JT back!! that is awesome! We need Jimmy Fallon and Andy Samberg back

  9. Jon says:

Timberlake will also be appearing for the whole week on jimmy Fallon from march 11-15

  10. Rachel says:

Yes!!!! I love the episodes every time he hosts!!! This will be good.

  11. Philip says:

Please no more Andy Samberg this season!!! I hope that Justin can do something other than Omeletteville and Dick in a box!!!!”

Also, I am fed up with all these musical hosts this season. Enough is enough!

    • Shaun says:

The last 2 have been actors I think.Only about half the time are they singers.

    • Brendan says:

JT is always great when he hosts… and Bruno Mars was, surprisingly, the best this season… not sure why you’re hating on the musical hosts.

Oh well… fingers crossed for a new Digital short!

  12. mia says:

Those are some pretty big shoes for MelB to fill. Hope she’s good. Last season’s combo of Sharon/Howard/Howie/Nick was perfection. The network should have bent over backwards to keep Sharon, given her whatever she wanted (even though her reasons for leaving are legit). She’ll be missed.

  13. N says:

    Love Justin!

  14. Kel says:

JT back on SNL? Bring it on down to Awesomeville!

  15. Sg. Grant says:

If any people involved with SNL see these comments, please bring back the Pandora sketch that you did with Bruno Mars, with JT as the replacement for Mars’ character.

    • Martoukian says:

They could make it a sketch about how many different things are called Pandora–the planet, the music website, the charm bracelets, and the Greek mythology–just to name a few.

  16. JenInChicago says:

Sorry, folks….I cannot stand Justin Timberlake. Cannot. Stand.
