I love Rachelle Lefevre, but I was really worried they were going to cast Julia young. In the book, she’s supposed to be more than ten years older than Mike Vogel’s character, but I think the actors are just a year apart. The book is amazing, and it’s so character-dependent that it kind of stinks to see CBS producers tinker with it (or more likely decide that there’s no way an actress in her 40s could be enough of a draw to play a leading lady).

Yeah, they’ve changed the characters so much (at least based off the casting blurbs) that I’m worried about it. I literally finished the book yesterday, and having read casting blurbs for weeks now, I see a LOT of differences. X(

  10. Belle says:

I’m sorry but what is the appeal of this actress? She is blah, and delivers lines boringly and hasn’t got the chops to take on something of Stephen King’s – PASS!!!!

  11. Jack Darley says:

I am so glad thatABC has nothing to do with the series. They would dump it after 3 episodes for a replacement Please run all 13 episodes.
