Exclusive Mentalist First Look: Homeland's Zuleikha Robinson Ruffles Jane's Feathers

After taking on the likes of Nicholas Brody, you’d think Homeland‘s Zuleikha Robinson could handle anything. But Patrick Jane actually may get the better of her on this Sunday’s The Mentalist (CBS, 10/9c) — and we’ve got your exclusive first look at their introduction.

As TVLine first reported, Robinson will visit the procedural as Sonia Kidd, a brilliant scientist specializing in the biological roots of murder. After her top student is killed, Kidd finds herself in a bird-themed battle of the brains with the always accurate human-behavior consultant — and she’s most certainly not going to back down from the challenge.

  1. Tran says:

Any info on if Zuleikha Robinson is coming back for the upcoming season of Homeland when it returns on September 29th?

  2. Nerwen Aldarion says:

Just a typical Patrick Jane exchange there, nothing really unsual.

  3. JoyAnne says:

as a deaf person I get so frustrated the online clips are not CC so I’ll settle for saying welcome back to The Mentalist. It has been pre emptied for one reason or another too many times.

    • Gailkate says:

I am not yet deaf but even with hearing aids I often can’t understand online clips. This problem will grow and grow as we boomers lose hearing, either moderate to severe loss. All TV producers and online video sites like this should be thoughtful. And, younger fans, be assured in my ear-splitting rocker days i never thought this would happen to me.

As for Jane, I never tire of his understated gibes.

    • I am not deaf either and I share your frustration with the preemptions and time delays that plague this excellent show. We have this new episode then, unfortunately another repeat next week.
