What to Watch Thursday: Anthony Edwards in Zero Hour, 'Wemma's Wedding, Suits and More

ADDISON TIMLIN, SCOTT MICHAEL FOSTER, CARMEN EJOGO, ANTHONY EDWARDSOn TV this Thursday: Zero Hour is upon us, Glee walks a core couple down the aisle, Community celebrates Halloween (of course) and we get a big step closer to crowning the next American Idol. As a supplement to TVLine’s original features (linked within), here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.

PREVIEW | Vampire Diaries‘ Joseph Morgan on Klaroline’s ‘Honest’ Moment, Klaus’ Exit

PREVIEW | The Big Bang Theory: Get Scoop on Tonight’s Valentine’s Day Episode!

8 pm Zero Hour (ABC) | Series premiere: Anthony Edwards (ER) returns to TV in this mythology-driven adventure about a magazine editor whose wife (Jacinda Barrett, Suits) is abducted after a clock she buys at a flea market turns out to hold a treasure map. And then it gets really, really nutty. Like, The Boys from Brazil meets Indiana Jones meets The Da Vinci Code nutty. Michael Nyqvist (Girl With the Dragon Tattoo), Scott Michael Foster (Greek) and Carmen Ejogo (Kidnapped) co-star. (Read our First Impression.)

8 pm American Idol (Fox) | The Top 40 singers are revealed.

8 pm Community (NBC) | The study-group members make an unexpected trip to Pierce’s mansion on Halloween, where they encounter some scary stuff indeed.

8:30 pm Parks and Recreation (NBC) | Leslie and Ben’s plans for a black-tie fundraiser for their park are derailed by a city-wide emergency response drill.

RELATED | Renewal Scorecard: What’s Coming Back? What’s Getting Cancelled? What’s on the Bubble?

9 pm Grey’s Anatomy (ABC) | Owen makes some tough decisions – including foregoing an expensive surgery that could save a child’s life — as the hospital careens toward financial ruin.

9 pm Beauty and the Beast (The CW) | Cat and Vincent don’t know whether they can trust Alex with the complete truth about Vincent’s past. (Seeing as this is guest star Bridget Regan’s last episode, they’d better decide and quick! Check out our First Look at tonight’s episode.)

9 pm Glee (Fox) | Will and Emma’s wedding day is finally here! See which former New Directions members will be back for the Valentine’s Day affair.

9 pm Person of Interest (CBS) | Alias‘ Mia Maestro guest-stars as a hotel maid whose life is in danger – and Reese and Finch are stymied by the sheer number of people who may be out to harm her.

9 pm Comic Book Men (AMC) | Midseason premiere: The Stash sell an independent comic book in order for the guys to see a costumed MMA fight. Also, Walt buys a couple of pairs of “nostalgic underwear.” (Yeah, I don’t know what that is, either.)

PREVIEW | Scandal‘s Tony Goldwyn Discusses Opens Up About Last Week’s Heartbreaking Twist: ‘I Literally Couldn’t Speak the Words’

10 pm Suits (USA Network) | Dana “Scottie” Scott (played by Mad Men alum Abigail Spencer) returns to complicate Harvey and Jessica’s battle against Hardman. And this time, she’s brought her entire firm.

  • Zero Hour was actually pretty intriguiing. I’m not sure how easy it will be to suspend disbelief after we see where this is going (is the editor going to be jetting all around the world on a realistically zero budget, or will the FBI be involved), but it was very much interesting enough to give it six episodes to see.

  • Dissapointed they didn’t bring back Terri for Wemmas wedding. Jessalyn Gilsig could have crashed the wedding like she did on Nip/Tuck during Christian and Kimbers wedding.

  • OMG! STOP WITH THE STUPID COUPLE NAMES!!! Seriously, people with working brains do NOT know 95% of these stoopid things, especially not no Wemma. The ‘shiptards will still visit the site if you actually name both the characters in a couple! And others might actually read the friggin’ articles!
