Loved the old yellow credits for Hawaii Five-O. While obviously not exactly the same, there were some nice parallels, like the car chase at the docks, the newspapers on the wall, and the rooftop stand-off, which was pretty similar, save for Kono taking the shot instead of Danny. Some of those old episodes were really good, and I hope they revive more of them. I have to give a shout-out to local LA station KDOC and MeTV for airing the original “Hookman” earlier this afternoon. I didn’t even know the new version was on tonight until I checked my program guide after watching the oldie. That made my day! Someone there must be a fan, or the new Five-O people called around to stations showing the original series. Either way, way cool for those of us who like to watch the old and the new.
