  • Might check out The Following. It’s gonna be interesting to see if TCD can improve. It had decent showings after its disappointing premiere ratings.. If it doesn’t , I won’t bother to watch it.

  • Come on people – watch the Carrie Diaries. The best written show on the CW after the LA Complex (which has already been canceled) :S

  • Why does 90210 have a musical guest every single week?! Completely distracts from the incredulous storylines!

    • so they can put them in the advertising as a cheap ploy for ratings

  • Liked TCD pilot so will watch again but when Dallas begins in a couple of weeks I may have to remove it from the watchlist. There’s just to many shows on Monday nights. I already deleted 90210 because I want to watch The Following and I also DVR SyFy Monday’s. Then of course on Tuesday, there’s nothing on.

    • Dallas repeats after 11 pm, so if you like tonight’s Carrie Diaries you can DVR Dallas and watch both.

  • I’m sorry, but after watching the trailer for The Following at the link, above, it looks like what I call “torture porn.” I think it’s a really sad commentary on our society that we blithely watch women getting terrified, tortured and killed as ENTERTAINMENT! I don’t watch Criminal Minds because it’s too grisly, and I’m not watching this one, either!

Comment by Drew – January 21, 2013 07:45 AM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • cry about it, you loser. It’s called TV. The killings aren’t supposed to excite or entice you, you’re supposed to be turned off by it. You aren’t supposed to like it. The entertainment isn’t supposed to be the killings, but the fact that one day, the good guys are going to take down the bad guys. So stfu and keep your prudish attitude to yourself.

      • Relax Stef. Drew doesn’t like it. That’s his business. You sound like a harpie.

    • Okay but it’s not as if you coined the term torture porn

  • I will be skipping The Following since the concept kinda sorta terrifies me. Sticking to some more (mostly) light-hearted fare tonight along with a healthy serving of sci-fi; HIMYM, Bones, Castle, Continuum, and Being Human.

  • I’ll be watching all SyFy (Being Human, Continuum, Lost Girl), 2 Broke Girls, Hawaii 5-0, Bones and Deception tonight. Whew! Busy Monday!!! I’ll think about catching up on the Following later on in the week. It reminds me of Criminal Minds (a good thing), but it has the makings of a one-hit wonder to me.

  • ABC is dumb. They haven’t been #1 since Who Wants to be a Millionaire and I don’t see them returning to that position for a very long time.

  • The Carrie Diaries doesn’t have much room to fall if it wants to get renewed for a second season. Hopefully since it had the pleasure of airing 3 different times last week it can bring in more viewers and a better demo.

  • I actually really liked TCD and will watch again tonight..but if the ratings continue to tumble I’ll just give it up considering there’s just so many good shows on Mondays.
