  • That’s pretty cool about Hawaii Five-0. I’m excited about the episode anyway, but that’s a neat bonus.

  • Shameless and Girls! I’m getting nervous we’re not going to get much of Donald Glover on Girls since Hannah is such a hot mess. I hope she keeps him around for awhile. I think I’m getting a little bored of her relationship with Adam. I kind of wish they hadn’t brought him back for the second season.

  • good god do some proper research before posting an article please. its the irish war for independence not the civil war, the civil war came a few years later. i know thats the time period they are in and i dont even watch the show. its insulting to myself and other irish people if you get something like that wrong, nobody would mix up the american war for independence and civil war so that should apply to other countries histories

Comment by Alan – January 20, 2013 07:59 AM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • it looks the mistake is on PBS, I just checked their Web site and that’s how they have it listed. the irish civil war. maybe Romney was right! lol

    • The Irish War of Independence began in 1919 and lasted until 1921. The Irish Civil War began in 1921. Since Downton is set in the 1920s for this series, it is the Irish Civil War.

Comment by Piers – January 20, 2013 10:39 AM PDT  Reply To This Post
      • this series is set right at the start of the 20′s, still during the time of the war of independence

Comment by Alan – January 20, 2013 03:01 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
        • Nope. Prohibition began in January 1921. Lord Grantham made reference to looking like a bootlegger. That image wouldn’t be a cliche’ at the very beginning of 1921. It’s the Irish Civil War.

  • Once Upon A Time, Revenge, and Hawaii Five-0. I kinda like the idea of Hawaii Five-0 on a Sunday night. I wish CBS would consider moving it there on a permanent basis to fill my Sunday nights and lighten up my Mondays a tiny bit.

  • For the love of all that is good, would you give it up with the Girls garbage? It’s not going to happen. The show is a flop and deservedly so. HBO can buy it all the golden globes it wants, it’s not going to change the fact that it’s a terrible, terrible, show.

Comment by Jennifer – January 20, 2013 12:33 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • You just don’t get the show, it’s not for you. Just like I’m not a fan of Downton Abbey, but you don’t see me trash talking the show. find some class.
