  • Blue Bloods was so boring last night as was Danny’s fill in partner. She may have been pretty but she was dull as dishwater. I liked the fill in for the Halloween episode better.

    • That’s pretty with those big ears and plain face?
Otherwise YES it was a dull show and that stereotypical drug cop yawn

  • Woo-hoo Nikita, one of my favorite shows. As good as Burn Notice.

    • Well said Margie. I love both shows. I like Burn Notice more, but like I said, love them both.

    • I feel like the quality of the show really went downhill this season, and it’s not because of Percy’s death but rather due to the focus on the relationships between the cast members (all the Mikita, Salex, Birkhoff, etc). It feels like the quality of the writing really took a nose-dive.

I preferred the show when it was serialized. The procedural stuff isn’t working for me at all, even though they did it just fine in season 1, this season is just incredibly weak. The only episode I enjoyed and even shed a tear for was episode 2 with the little girl.

  • Dear CW…You also killed a great show by putting it on after a reality show that has no cross audience with Nikita. Hopefully you learned from your mistake

    • Yet that reality show (also known as America’s Next Top Model) also managed to get higher ratings than Nikita has got within it’s 2nd and 3rd seasons.

        • Nikita is fine, hate or no hate. The CW, for some reason outside of the specific ratings numbers(international revenue, perhaps) renewed Nikita last year with the weakest ratings of just about every show on the network. If the numbers add up to the same this year, or close to those numbers, it will be renewed because of the syndication cash that will come with 88 episodes. I was blown away by the renewal last year but very happy.

        • I’m not hating on Nikita i’m just stating that The CW didn’t kill the show

      • CW must be more happy with ANTM since it got higher ratings. But, good for Nikita too. Hope it increases in the coming weeks for the sake of the fans.

Comment by TheColdTruth – December 1, 2012 10:47 AM PDT  Reply To This Post
      • The point isn’t how high ANTM’s ratings were, it’s the incompatibility of the two shows. Normally, you pair up two similar shows – with similar audiences – so that each can benefit viewers from the other. Not many people who are into a competitive reality show about models are also going to be into an action-filled spy thriller. I’m sure the pairing didn’t do ANTM any favors, either.

Comment by Alex Forrest (@AlexForrest5) – December 1, 2012 12:12 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
      • Yes, because clearly the fanbases of Nikita and ANTM are so similar, right?

  • Nikita did good look at CW’s monday and tuesday ratings. Being on friday Nikita beat them some of them even have the same demo on a monday.

And the viewer numbers is WAY bigger than their monday shows. Means MORE people watch NIKITA

  • Was hoping for a bigger rise in Nikita’s numbers, but eh, we’ll take what we can get.

Comment by Alex Forrest (@AlexForrest5) – December 1, 2012 12:16 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
  • Totall viewers are meaningless to networks,it’s demo that matters and this week if 0.4holds(which Nikita usually adjusts down) ,Nikita three way ties with GG,Emily Owens at 0.4 for lowest rated show, somea accomplishment to be proud of, lol.90210 ,SPN,VD,Arrow,HoD all beat in it demo and total viewers.Plus if you look at the look at the decline in Nikita’s ratings season two and three, going from 0.6 for season three premiere to 0.3 for season three premire with under a million viewers, people are dropping Nikita like hot potatoes so less and less people watch Nikita all the time Also, that 0.4 could and will Likley adjust down as is Nikita’s patterns and even if it sticks, an 0.4 is awful.

Comment by Brandy – December 1, 2012 12:35 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • Go over to tvbythenumbers you pathetic hater.. Oh did you forget HoD is only in its 2nd season. Nikita is in its 3rd season and get almost matching ratings as that show..
And when did 90210 beat it in viewers this week you big fat liar,

Comment by kavyn – December 1, 2012 01:05 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
        • LOL, how sad is it when someone hates a show so passionately that they’d scour the internet for every article they can find about it, just to talk trash? It’d be one thing if she at least stayed over at her precious TVBTN and bashed the show THERE, but instead she goes everywhere to bash Nikita. Hilarious.

Comment by Alex Forrest (@AlexForrest5) – December 1, 2012 01:31 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
      • In demo 90210 did beat Nikita 90210 0.5,Nikita 0.4 and that’s if it’s lucky to not get adjusted down.I said demo,if you can read and demo is what matters to networks, not total viewers.I at least can admit Nikita’s ratings aren’t good unlike the rest of you rude mean disrectful hateful fanboys who can’t accept it’s bad ratings or that not everyone likes your show so you call everyone a hater, thats so mature..NOT!Hod is doing 0.5-0.6 just like Nikita did in season two until the last quarter.

Comment by Brandy – December 1, 2012 01:17 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
        • yeah and like 0.5 is better on monday or tuesday over a 0.4 on a freaking friday. Suck it Nikita hater you lose.

Comment by Michael – December 1, 2012 01:45 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
  • Nikita got another season because it is a smart and good show. On another network it would BEAT THE CRAP out of other shows!!!! That’s the cold hard fact.
All you haters are just idiotic trolls who are probably sour because your beloved The Secret Circle got cancelled.
What you also do not understand is that people watch less tv on a friday than on a normal night so ratings are less for ALL shows on a friday. Nikita got the death slot last year because they couldn’t capitalise on the rating TVD brought in. They moved it but it still survived and did relatively well. 90210 is only on because it had a good first season and is an alum of one of pop cultures most epic shows.

Nikita does do well in other countries and will most likely get a fourth, maybe reduced season in order to reach some sort of syndication deal.

I knew the moment they moved Nikita back, you’d see more people watching live. It will pick up. Now if these eejits at CW realize that they should cancel or move Beauty and the beast, place Supernatural after TVD and pair Arrow and Nikita on a wednesday the ratings will sky rocket!!!

    • If fri is the excuse for Nikita’s poor ratings, tell me how did SMV,SPN still manage 0.8 (SPNs low was 0.6)and better and managed to remain CWs second and third highest shows and never had close to Nikita’s ratings being on fri night? Seems to me people were more interested in SPN and SMV on fri night than Nikita.Top Model moved to fri and retained the same ratings as cycle 18 on Wed.So please tell me again how fri is the problem. Lol.

Comment by Brandy – December 1, 2012 01:22 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
      • Also, if fri is problem with Nikita’s ratings, tell me why did Arrow and Beauty pilots repeats get 0.6s at least?Seems like people were interested in watching them but not Nikita. If fri is the problem, why dosent Nikita get more than a 0.4 ,a tenth of a point increase in DVr?if fri was really the problem ,people would go out but DVr and there’d be a big increase in DVr but there’s not.If fri is the problem, why did the season one finale on Thurs with the best possible leadin, only get 0.7 and Nikita was a bubble show?In season one on Thurs, with VD, it went from 1.4 or so for the pilot to 0.7 for the finale and go under 2 million viewers four times?

Comment by Brandy – December 1, 2012 01:32 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
        • You are so freaking dumb and there is NO question you are a hater these repeats was from the pilots and they HAD no competition when they aired that friday,

Comment by Michael – December 1, 2012 01:38 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
      • ALL these shows had been on air for MANY seasons before moving to fridays. Thats why their ratings is better not to mention they got these viewers from WB network when they aired there

You are so damn pathetic Brandy

Comment by Michael – December 1, 2012 01:36 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
        • So what if they’d been on many seasons?CW apperantley rely felt that season one was enough time for Nikita to get a stable, loyal fanbase that would follow it, and that didn’t happen. Also, that dosent hold water cause HOD changed nights, timeslots and became a leadin in season two yet it returned up and since has been steady like last season, so moving it or making it a leadin in season two didn’t hurt it, unlike Nikita.

Comment by Brandy – December 1, 2012 02:09 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
          • so why is it on 0.5 now. How do you get to the conclusion it did not lose viewers when it got 0.8-0.7 last year??

face it you are a Nikita hater that is your lifes mission to trash it. How pathetic is that. At least we the fans has a reason to come here. You don’t!

Comment by Michael – December 1, 2012 02:24 PM PDT
    • Never mind the haters. We should just feel sorry for them and their utter lack of taste in television. That is all.

Comment by Alex Forrest (@AlexForrest5) – December 1, 2012 01:33 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
  • By the way Nikita didn’t rate well because it had competition in Grey’s and Person of Interest which lowered ratings for it. And because cw wanted to pair the secret circle and the vampire diairies. Like that did any good.

Comment by shuayb – December 1, 2012 01:12 PM PDT  Reply To This Post

  • Lol. I don’t even watch Nikita and Brandy is getting on my nerves. If the network couldn’t make money on it, it wouldn’t be on. Period. Maybe it does well internationally or on iTunes sales and online licensing. It’s got a fan base; let them enjoy it and any good news about it. The CW certainly has a different bar for success than the major networks.

Comment by Jenna – December 1, 2012 03:30 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • Thank you for this post, it’s nice to get some objective input. It annoys me when people act like Nielsen ratings are the be-all and end-all of profitability, as if there aren’t other ways to make money off TV shows. The CW didn’t renew Nikita because their president is BFF’s with Maggie Q or something. They obviously did it because they expect to make money from the show, so even if its live ratings suck, it must perform well in other avenues. The fact that live ratings are the only data that’s available to us, the viewers, doesn’t mean it’s the only data that MATTERS to networks – far from it.

Comment by Alex Forrest (@AlexForrest5) – December 2, 2012 05:22 AM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • Well said. I haven’t seen this show, either-just haven’t had a chance to really sit down and check it out. But I know full well what it’s like to like shows that have to fight a bit (or a lot) ratings wise, so it’s cool when they’re able to break through that a bit and be successful.
It’s got a fan base; let them enjoy it and any good news about it.
Heeeeey, novel idea! Yeah, I don’t get this need people have to come in and bash a show someone else likes. If you don’t care for it, that’s fine, and it’s okay to say it’s not your thing, too. But there’s really no need to rain on other fans’ parade all the time and make fun/insult them. Anyone who does that needs to grow up and find something better to do with their time.

  • I foresee a cancellation after this season!

Comment by LJW – December 1, 2012 09:17 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • Are you dumb or something Nikita was renewed with this rating last season. Now it will go into syndication territory where CW and warner can earn the big bucks on Nikita. Because its in syndication the real money is for tv shows and i even believe it might get a 5th season like FOX did for Fringe to get it to 100 ep. Much better syndication deals to be made with that.

If you have nothing but crap to write then STFU

  • Not at all surprised that it did better on its REGULAR time slot. I hope they pair it up with Cult in Jan! I bet it’ll do just fine there. This season has really been so good and such a game changer. I’d hate to live in a world where a smart show like Nikita is canceled but crap teen shows like 90210 still reign. Does anyone still watch that crap?
