• Hot in Cleveland is about to heat up. All My Children alum Cameron Mathison has nabbed a guest spot in an upcoming episode of the TV Land comedy, Soap Opera Digest reports, playing Melanie’s friend and Joy’s suitor. Meanwhile, TV Guide Magazine has learned that the cabler will air a super-sized, live installment of Cleveland on June 19 during the series’ summer run.

The next season of The Bachelor, featuring former Bachelorette fave Sean Lowe, is set to launch Monday, Jan. 7 at 8/7c on ABC.

NBC and Lorne Michaels are developing a sitcom to star Saturday Night Live vet Kenan Thompson. Per TV Guide Magazine, the family comedy would star Thompson as a man moving in with his in-laws. Michaels, Bryan Tucker (SNL), Andrew Singer (30 Rock) and Thompson would executive-produce.

  • The voice-over is Quaithe, right? Really sounds like her and it is prophetic, but I don’t think it was ever mentioned that she was working on behalf of R’hollor. Can anybody clear this up?

  • Hopefully Keenan will leave SNL for the sitcom, the sitcom will be cancelled after one episode, and he will sink into obscurity where he belongs.
