Carla Gugino aims to be the boss of Schmidt in more ways than one when she joins Fox’s New Girl — and here’s photographic evidence of the twosome’s torrid tango.

According to the official Fox synopsis, “Schmidt begins a 50 Shades of Grey-type of relationship with his corporate boss” played by Gugino starting Nov. 13 — though the sophomore sitcom offers up a slight spin on that bit of literary lasciviousness.

“It’s a reverse 50 Shades of Grey,” Max Greenfield shared with TVLine in the video below this slide show (and also found here). “She totally hits on me in a very aggressive way, and I am little on the fence about whether to pursue it or not.”

Schmidt, on the fence about taking a trip to “sin city” with an aggressive, sexy woman…? What the what?

  • I stopped watching New Girl long ago b/c it just got too annoying… but I’d def watch this episode for Carla Gugino!

It’ll also be interesting to see how they play the gender dynamics
