9 pm Presidential Debate (All major networks) | Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama answer questions in a town-meeting format at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. CNN’s Candy Crowley moderates.

Well there’s nothing for me tonight. May watch Emily Owens for the awesome Meryl Streep’s daughter and catch up on Dexter.

  6. Jinjeon says:

If it wasn’t for who her mother is, Mamie would have never got a leading role in TV show. The girl is mediocre actress and very average looking.

    • CJ says:

I hate to admit it, but I kind of agree. But she seems nice enough and the show looks cute so I may check it out on Hulu over the weekend if I have some time to kill.

    • april-ann says:

I can see how one may think that at first (and I’m sure she is aware of the huge potential for people to say that); but she is an accomplished actress in her own right and I think she is very talented. If it was only for who her mother is, she’d be on the big screen in movie after movie (she’s almost 30), but she’s not, she is the lead on a CW series. I know that’s still pretty good but I do think she got there on her own merit. She is certainly talented enough to go further but she will do so on her own. I know her looks are unconventional meaning not the cookie cutter type of beauty we are accustomed to seeing these days, but she has charm and charisma and I think she is quite pretty.

  7. Meerna says:

  14. McAmster says:

Mammo Gummo, thats what I call that very unattractive Emily Owens “actress”, is NOT MEREDITH GREY! Girlfriend needs to stop trying to be something shes not. Didnt like her on her previous shows not bothering here either.

I think she should just go get a behind the scenes job for her mother.

    IMHO.

I have to catch up on Raising Hope. Does anyone know when the DVD comes out for season 2?

  27. Randy says:

I watched the series debut of Emily Owens on YouTube. It is a watered down Greys Anatomy. It starts with Emily on her first day as a surgical intern, just like Greys. It has voiceovers from the main character, just like Greys. It has a tough female boss that is responsible for the interns, just like Greys. It goes on and on. The main downfall? The lead actress is in about 95% of the scenes and talks to herself more than the other characters. DOA.
