What to Watch Friday: Degrassi's Back, CSI: NY Visits SF, a Dog Blogs, Strike Back Finale & More

CSI: NYOn TV this Friday: Degrassi: The Next Generation is back in session, CSI: NY takes a road trip, Dog With a Blog hits it big on the Woof Wide Web and Strike Back gets in one more blow. Here are 10 programs to watch for tonight.

8 pm Shark Tank (ABC) | Waffles that put pep in your step and dresses made from pillowcases are among the products presented tonight.

9 pm CSI: NY (CBS) | New/old time slot alert! Peter Horton (thirtysomething) guest-stars as an FBI agent when evidence from a Brooklyn Bridge crime scene sends Mac and Joe to San Francisco in search of a missing girl.

9 pm Degrassi: The Next Generation (Teen Nick) | Fall premiere: Becky’s starting to have feelings for Adam (for the un-Degrassied among you, Adam is a transgender teen). I’m sure her conservative parents will be totally cool with that.

9 pm Fringe (Fox) | Strange (yeah, even for this show) events lead the team to a forest where a subculture of people is devoted to recording human history.

9 pm Grimm (NBC) | A Drang-Zorn (translation: badger-like creature) suspected of several murders goes on the run with his young daughter.

9 pm Boss (Starz) | In Season 2’s penultimate episode, emergency managers prepare to take control of the city, which is thisclose to bankruptcy — but Kane’s got even bigger problems when his enemies threaten to expose him.

9:40 pm Dog With a Blog (Disney Channel) | Series premiere: Stan, a rescue dog who’s just been adopted by a newly blended family, has a secret: He can talk… and type. Tonight, stepsiblings Tyler, Avery and Chloe discover their pooch’s secret and agree to keep their parents in the dark.

10 pm Strike Back (Cinemax) | Season 2 finale: Scott’s dark past may dictate his course of action, Stonebridge is consumed with thoughts of revenge, and South African police work with Section 20 to find Knox and the nukes before it’s too late. (Stick around after the episode for a sneak peek of the new action series Hunted, which stars Melissa George and premieres Oct. 19. Also, look for Strike Back’s Season 3 to premiere sometime in 2013.)

10 pm Blue Bloods (CBS) | Two murder victims are identified as members of a group charged with gang rape, leading Danny to believe a serial killer did them in. Elsewhere, Erin faces off against her lawyer ex-husband (Law & Order: SVU‘s Peter Hermann) in court.

10 pm Real Time With Bill Maher (HBO) | Ben Affleck, California Representative Darrell Issa and Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer gather around the table; Maher interviews former FDIC chair Sheila Bair and pundit Ann Coulter.

    Finally we get to see Erin’s ex husband. Can’t wait to see them together in a scene. Blue Bloods for me tonight. Now, we just need a flashback episode to see the mother and I will be happy.

    Fringe. At 9. Even without a Nielsen box. Fringe is like the only network show I care to watch these days. The rest… maybe on Hulu, if I’m extremely bored.
