Exclusive: Miley Cyrus Flees Lifetime/History Bonnie & Clyde Miniseries

Get More: Casting News, Exclusive

Miley Cyrus Bonnie & ClydeThis is pretty uncool: Miley Cyrus is no longer in the running to play the female lead in Bonnie & Clyde, a four-hour miniseries in development for cable siblings History and Lifetime, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Cyrus had been in negotiations to play Bonnie in the project, which is being shepherded by Smash exec producers, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

It’s not clear what led to the breakdown in talks.

Later this month, Cyrus kicks off a multi-episode arc as a love interest for Angus T. Jones’ Jake on CBS’ Two and a Half Men.

    • I believe Michael was referencing SNL’s Miley Ciruss spoof talk show, on which she repeatedly touts things as being “pretty cool,” which makes Michael super cool!

  • P.S. Her hair is not attractive. I’m all for an adventurous and daring ‘do, as long as it’s also flattering.

  • My girls watched Hannah Montana…and it wasn’t bad. Miley was good, but the guy who played her brother and Emily Osment had the talent.
She just can’t pull off bad a@@. This new “look” is ridiculous as well. And too further nit pik…but is she capable of closing her lips?
