Exclusive: Animal Practice Casts Adam Goldberg as Himself — and He's Got Fans at the Hospital!

Adam GoldbergAdam Goldberg is paying a visit to Animal Practice.

The actor, who most recently starred on CBS’ NYC 22, has lined up a guest spot on the NBC comedy as himself, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Goldberg will “star” as a lawyer on the fictional legal drama, Laws of the Jungle, to which animal handler Angela (Betsy Sodaro) and Rizzo the monkey are addicted. His character within the series also has a simian sidekick named Shapiro.

Goldberg’s other credits include The Unusuals, as well as stints on White Collar, Entourage and Joey.

  • I hope that improves the show. It’s a snoozefest. I had hoped it was a good show but last night I turned it off mid stream.

  • I gave up on this show after two episodes. Shame as I love Justin Kirk, but Joanna Garcia’s character was insufferable (she deserves better) and it just wasn’t funny.
