TVLine Items: Raising Hope Premieres on Twitter, Whitney Lands Breaking Bad Actor and More!

Raising HopeThere’s a Chance this news might make your day: Fox is releasing Raising Hope‘s Season 3 premiere ahead of its scheduled Oct. 2 launch.

From now until Thursday, Sept. 27, the opener will be available — minus commercials — on the comedy’s official Twitter page.

“Season 3 is shaping up to be our best season yet, so we’re excited about this opportunity for new viewers to sample the show, as well as giving a sneak peek to our loyal fans who know how to use Twitter,” Hope showrunner Greg Garcia said Friday in a statement. “My father, however, will have to wait to see the premiere episode on regular TV on Oct. 2, but that’s what he gets for being old.”

• Breaking Bad‘s Dean Norris will drop by Whitney this fall as Chris D’Elia’s dad, EW.com reports. The NBC comedy’s sophomore run debuts Oct. 19.

• CSI: NY has nabbed Kathleen York (The West Wing) and Niko Nicotera (Sons of Anarchy) for a November sweeps episode that centers on a murder in Central Park’s Turtle Pond, per TVGuide.com.

• Missi Pyle (The Artist) will guest-star in an episode of NBC’s midseason White House comedy 1600 Penn, TV Guide Magazine reports, playing an agent assigned to keep a close eye on the President’s daughter.

    When they announced that Jonathan Banks would be on Parks and Rec, I asked which NBC sitcom Aaron Paul would be on (since Banks, Giancarlo Esposito, and Bryan Cranston all either had or were planning on guest starring in one of them). Someone jokingly said Whitney. Apparently, we just got the actor wrong…

    Also, come on, Dean Norris. You can do better.

    Can’t wait to see how they top crazy serial mom coming back from the dead to reclaim her baby and baby daddy, only to get hit by a bus while trying to kill her rival for baby daddy’s affections.

    Brilliant episode of RH, as always. Seriously people watch this show! It’s much better than any of the other network’s comedies outside of maybe P&R and Community.
