The moneyed Virginia is described as snobbish, racist, and utterly self-absorbed. But much like her son, deep down she has something resembling a heart.

Potts last appeared in ABC’s short-lived soap GCB.

Animal Practice is set to make its regular time period debut on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 8/7c.

  • Having seen the pilot, and the extremely annoying vet tech, even the addition of Annie Potts won’t induce me to give it a second chance.

  • Agree, Annie is hilarious and needs her own show, not another Mom role that will make her steal the whole show. But hey, Animal Hospital needs her.
