What to Watch Friday: Phineas and Ferb in the Lurch, Top Model U, a Windy City XIII and More

On TV this Friday: Phineas and Ferb think you’ve (and they’ve) been left dangling for long enough, Professor Tyra college-classes up America’s Next Top Model, Scott and Stonebridge Strike Back against the bad guys and John Oliver’s Stand-Up Show closes its Season 3 run. As a supplement to TVLine’s original features (linked within), here are eight programs you may want to check out tonight.

8 pm America’s Next Top Model: College Edition (The CW) | Season premiere: Female college students compete for fame in the newest cycle of Tyra Banks’ search for the next pretty face.

8 pm WWE Smackdown (Syfy) | After Sheamus’ SummerSlam win, the wrestlefest takes a new look at world-heavyweight contenders.

PREVIEW | Boss’ Kathleen Robertson Teases What it Will Take for ‘Decimated’ Kitty to Reteam with Kane

9 pm Phineas and Ferb (Disney Channel) | In this conclusion of a two-part special, it’s finally time to find out what happened to Phineas, Ferb and the gang – last seen hanging off an uncharted gorge! Elsewhere, with Agent P missing, Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Major Monogram square off against evil Carl, who controls a set of Flynn-Fletcher robots to take over the OWCA.

9 pm XIII: The Series (Reelz) | The search for Robert Simons, one of the other agents sent to break into the Costa Verde plant, leads XIII and Jones to Chicago.

10 pm Strike Back (Cinemax) | Stonebridge and Scott head to Niger to track down yellow cake uranium a radical Muslim cleric now in possession of the triggers. Things later go even farther south when a desert ambush once more puts the mission in jeopardy.

10 pm Real Time With Bill Maher (HBO) | Commentator Will Cain, BBC anchor Katty Kay and Georgia Rep. Jack Kingston join Bill for the roundtable, and comedian D.L. Hughley shows up for an interview.

10 pm I Found the Gown (TLC) | Series premiere: Apparently, TLC doesn’t think it’s quite reached its bridal content saturation point. A camera crew follows the action at a designer wedding gown outlet in Boston, where the shop’s owners offer an alternative to the high price points at places like Say Yes to the Dress’ Kleinfeld. (Another episode follows at 10:30 pm.)
