Exclusive Fringe Video: New Final Season Teaser Trailer Issues Dire Warning

For its fifth final season, Fringe is heading back to a frightening future run by scary bald men — and we have the video to prove it!

When the Fox thriller returns on Sept. 28, the action picks up the day after Season 4’s 2036-set “Letters in Transit” episode left off — with an Olivia-less Fringe crew joining the war against the Observers.

The following exclusive teaser shows the invaders marching toward the screen as a series of voiceovers recount the team’s gradual understanding of the chrome domed enigmas.

  20. January says:

By far, my favorite TV show ever since LOST ended. Let’s hope for a feature length movie fairly soon after the final episode. Letter writing campaign from all 4 (5?) universes!

  21. ghelda says:

Why Only 13eps? I want much more!!!!

  22. lsfein says:

I agree–13 episodes is way too few. We need a full final season: 22 episodes.

  23. I can’t wait for Fringe to start again, have watched it since day 1 and love it!

  24. FringeFan says:

BEST SHOW ON TV!! BUT WE WANT 22 FINAL ELISODES BECAUSE 13 IS TOO FEW TO SAY GOODBYE… :(

    • Heidi says:

AGREE 100% – i dont understand why they are only doing 13 episodes especially since they previously said they have material for 6 to 8 seasons!

  25. MacScroob says:

We are lucky to get 13. Fringe has never done well in the ratings and these 13 are somewhat of a gift from Fox to give us closure.

    • Heidi Hernandez says:

I think they need a new way of gauging ratings……with sooo many channels/shows available, DVR’s, TIVO, Apple TV, and Netflix-many people DO NOT watch a show on the night it comes on live. I know in my household the ONLY show we do that with & the ONLY reality show we watch is American Idol & I am finally looking to ditch that pending their new judges. And of course the news-other than that-we are an APPLE TV or DVR Family! Anyways, I don’t think the current system accurately reflects a show’s audience.

  26. Novembre says:

13 eps is the new 22 eps. Look at all the other good shows out there. Final Eureka season had just 13 eps, altho i hope that the last EVER episode: s5x13 will be double length.

  27. Dave Turner says:

I love this show! Never miss an episode. Everything about this show is amazing!!!!!!
