What to Watch Monday: A Closer Crisis, Mulgrew Back to the Warehouse, Supermodels and More

On TV this Monday: Kate Mulgrew finds herself inside Warehouse 13 again, Frances Sternhagen and Barry Corbin return to The Closer, Michelle takes charge of the Bunheads and an HBO documentary sizes up supermodels. Here are nine programs to watch tonight.

8 pm 2012 Summer Olympics (NBC) | On tap for tonight, you’ve got men’s and women’s swimming finals, men’s synchronized diving, U.S. beach volleyball and men’s gymnastics.

8 pm 90210 (The CW) | In this Repeat to (possibly) Revisit, the gang visits Sin City, where Naomi meets Austin’s dad (played by guest-star Billy Ray Cyrus) and the guys run into Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino.

8 pm The Secret Life of the American Teenager (ABC Family) | Kathy’s new friends are a bad influence.

9 pm Bunheads (ABC Family) | Michelle suspects one of the girls is a liar and a thief. (Well, at least she’s in good company.) Scooplet! Sutton Foster tells us this is the episode where Michelle officially becomes the Bunheads’ teacher.

9 pm About Face: Supermodels Then and Now (HBO) | This documentary about walking clothes hangers through the years — think of if as America’s First Top Models – includes interviews with the likes of Carol Alt, Christie Brinkley, Jerry Hall, Beverly Johnson, Paulina Porizkova, Isabella Rossellini and Cheryl Tiegs.

9 pm The Closer (TNT) | In the series’ antepenultimate episode, a priest’s murder drives a wedge between Brenda and Chief Pope. Also, Frances Sternhagen and Barry Corbin return as Brenda’s parents visit, as Clay continues his cancer treatments.

9 pm Warehouse 13 (Syfy) | Kate Mulgrew (Star Trek: Voyager) returns as Jane Lattimer when Pete and Myka investigate a case of mass hallucinations. I think I can help clear this up, Pete and Myka: Surreal though it was (giant baby head, parachuting queen, multiple Mary Poppins), the Olympic opening ceremony actually happened.

10 pm Perception (TNT) | Cary Elwes (Leverage, Psych) continues his tour of cable-TV dramas when he and Justified’s Neal McDonough guest-star on this freshman series.

10 pm Teen Wolf (MTV) | Scott, Stiles, Melissa and Sheriff Stilinski are being held hostage at the sheriff’s department — so what’s gonna happen when Allison tracks Derek there?

  1. Brandy says:

    Bunheads

  2. Kate says:

Hoping the Closer gets better, I want Brenda to go out on top rather than have a mental breakdown which seems the way they are headed. Oh and antepenultimate? Why must we be so fancy about it being the third to last episode?

  3. Nick says:

    Perception & Alphas

  4. MaryAnn says:

Perception and Teen Wolf for me. Perception finally got it right after the absolutely unwatchable, mentally ill lead characters on House and Monk, and Teen Wolf continues to have three dimensional characters and enthralling drama that appeals to viewers of all ages.

  5. nick1372 says:

    I’m watching Perception.

  6. Jess says:

my eyes hurt from a weekend of non-stop olympics watching, and I’m pretty sure I’ll go blind if I do that for the next 2 weeks, so I’m trying to limit my time to just a couple of hours per day! :) can’t wait for swimming, diving, and gymnastics tonight, all my favorites!

  7. Tina says:

The Closer without a doubt!! Best show on TV thanks to Kyra Sedgwick, Mary McDonnell and the rest of the amazing cast.
Can’t wait for the spin off ‘Major Crimes’ premiering August 13 immediately after the final episode of The Closer.

May possibly watch Warehouse 13!! Adore Kate Mulgrew!!

    No Perception!!!! Once was enough!!

  11. W says:

There is just not enough time to watch everything anymore. Either there needs to be more time in a day, a shorter work day or two or three clones of me.

  12. Mikaylah says:

Bunheads, Warehouse 13, Alphas, and Teen Wolf. Mainly excited for Teen Wolf. Never did I expect to like that show as much as I do.

  17. JP says:

Warehouse 13 & Perception. Now that I know in advance Cary Elwes is guesting, I’ll see if I can recognize him — totally missed that it was him on Leverage.

Also, does Neal McDonough freak anyone else out or is it just me?

  18. Miffy says:

    Mary Ryan!

  19. Alan says:

loving the more serialized approach that being done on warehouse 13 over the past season or so, really added some tension to the show. ive never seen a show improve this much from a fairly average first season

  20. Patti says:
