Ratings: Fred Willard Show Drops, L.A. Complex Plunges, Plus Raw Records and Syfy Premieres

Is there no such thing as bad press? ABC’s Fred Willard-hosted Trust Us With Your Life improv series this Tuesday drew barely 1.9 million viewers while mustering a 0.6 demo rating, down 28 and 33 percent week-to-week and letting slip from its grip about a third of its sitcom repeat lead-in.

Elsewhere on Tuesday, America’s Got Talent held steady with 10.3 million total viewers (topping the night) and a 2.6 demo rating (tying Fox’s food shows for the win)…. Hell’s Kitchen (6.2 mil/2.6) and MasterChef (6.2 mil/2.6) each ticked up a tenth in the demo…. The CW’sL.A. Complex plunged 33 percent, to under 400,000 viewers (!) and a 0.2 rating (!!)… and ABC’s NY Med (4.3 mil/1.1) dipped about 10 percent while Love in the Wild (4.5 mil/1.3) was flat in its finale.

A few other ratings headlines for you:

* USA Network’s presentation of WWE Monday Night Raw‘s 1,000th episode was the most-watched three-hour Raw ever (with over 6 million total viewers), while the “regular episode” that ran from 9 to 11 pm commanded the largest audience (6.3 mil) for a two-hour Raw in 10 years.

* Also on Monday, Syfy’s Warehouse 13 returned to an audience of 2.1 million, with about a mil landing in the 18-49 sweet spot — marking gains of 31 and 23 percent versus the previous season’s finale. Likewise, Alphas (1.7 million total viewers, 725 in the 18-49 demo) surged 50 and 24 percent from its freshman closer.

I know! I liked the first season, but it seemed kind of “meh.” Monday’s episode? That blew me away. It seemed like it was finally reaching it’s potential.

  3. Velvet says:

I sure as hell didn’t watch Alphas.

  4. MJ says:

Why isn’t anyone watching L.A. Complex? It’s actually pretty amazing… and I love playing “what was that Canadian actor in?” while watching lol.

  6. Alan says:

glad to see the good ratings for warehouse 13, the effects may not be great but the acting and writing has been fantastic the past few years

  7. TV Watcher says:

Warehouse 13 FTW! Its going to be another great season!

  8. AriesMatt says:

Although I enjoyed Warehouse 13, it seemed that they tried to cram too much into the premiere episode and took themselves too seriously (Eddie McClintock excluded). I also watched in HD for the first time and some of the CGI looked a little funky.

LOVED Alphas. Very strong first ep and looking forward to the remainder of the season.

LA Complex is surprisingly good. I hope it’s doing well enough in Canada to keep going.

  11. Janie says:

Poor LA Complex. It deserves better than this. It’s a good show but the mass out there just isnt’ connecting with it.

  12. DL says:

Alphas was excellent. Better than Warehouse! Looking forward to the rest of the season!

  13. joseph says:

The LA Complex is an AMAZING show! I think the CW didn’t advertise enough for it.

  14. Betsy says:

I love the LA Complex, it better not get cancelled because people are too lame to watch or don’t know about it. Gah. And why isn’t it on right now!?!?!
