What to Watch: Adios Eureka, Jamie Bamber on Perception, Holy Batmobiles! and More

On TV this Monday: Eureka makes its egress, tough times Push Girls to evaluate their lives, Batman’s rubber hits the road and Perception nabs one heck of a Battle(guest)star – so say we all. Here are nine programs to keep your eye on tonight.

8 pm The Batmobile (The CW) | This half-hour special on the caped crusader’s iconic ride features interviews with Batmen old (Adam West) and new (Christian Bale) as well as directors of several of the flicks. Hey, is there a new Batman movie coming out soon or something?

8 pm Hell’s Kitchen (Fox) | One contestant makes Hell’s Kitchen history in an episode that features competitive eater Joey “Jaws” Chestnut and a wing-eating showdown.

9 pm Eureka (Syfy) | Via Ask Ausiello, Matt Mitovich already gave you a juicy preview of what takes place in the series finale of the sci-fi crowd-pleaser, but here’s the bullet: Wormholes start popping up all over, threatening to rip Eureka apart unless Carter can stop them.

9 pm Bunheads (ABC Family) | More of Fanny’s financial difficulties come to light, and Boo hangs out with a hot bartender. (Isn’t she, like, 15?)

9 pm The Closer (TNT) | A good deed doesn’t go unpunished when Provenza helps his first ex-wife try to get her wedding ring back from a shady gold buyer. Robbery, felony murder and an evidence-swallowing dog are involved.

10 pm Perception (TNT) | Frakkin’ great guest star Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) shows up as a handsome professor who tickles Moretti’s fancy. In other, less good-looking news, Pierce and Moretti work on a murder in which the main suspect has a condition that makes him unable to recognize faces.

10 pm Push Girls (Sundance) | Tiphany has a rough weekend when her high school reunion falls on the anniversary of the accident that left her paralyzed.

10 pm Lost Girl (Syfy) | Trick’s efforts to see the future risk a dangerous revelation. Reminder: The show moves to Fridays-at-10 later this week, with another new episode.

  • Fairwell Eureka! You were gone to soon! If Syfy wouldn’t have made stupid reality shows like Face/Off, Black Out, and Monster Man, you probably would have been around for years to come.

    • There’s always a new Teen Wolf on Monday nights – well except until after the season finale airs in which we wait for Season 3 to come! TV Line just didn’t mention it sadly.

  • Watching:
Bidding a bittersweet farewell to Eureka. :-( Season has been somewhat darker than previous – hope that is not how it ends.
    Lizard Lick

DVR: The Closer. Still very much on the fence re: Major Crimes.
Just won’t be the same with no Brenda.

Checking out as much of Tom Hank’s animated “Electric City” web series as I can find. I believe it breaks on Yahoo today. Saw promos over the weekend and looks incredible.

No to Perception and Bunheads, amongst others. Tried both neither stuck.

  • Eureka. DVRing The Closer. Probably giving up on Bunheads-I liked the pilot, but subsequent episodes were kind of ho hum. Watched the Perception pilot-didn’t like it. Burned out on quirky leads, I guess.
