What to Watch Friday: Bones 'Re-Birth,' Ricky Gervais' Spit-Take, L.A. Complex-a-thon and More!

On TV this Friday: Take deep, cleansing breaths and relive the Bones childbirth, The Ricky Gervais Show will make you drool, Fuse shows The L.A. Complex a lot of love and 20/20 is pure Heaven. Here are nine programs to keep on your radar.

7 pm – 1 am The L.A. Complex (Fuse) | With Season 2 premiering July 17 on The CW, catch up on the freshman run of this Degrassi: The Next Generation almost-spinoff during this marathon.

8 pm A.N.T. Farm (Disney) | When Fletcher starts an animated web show based on his life, Olive does not like that she’s portrayed as a bothersome know-it-all. So she sues. Because that’s not bothersome at all.

8:30 pm Community (NBC) | A Repeat to Revisit: When the study group is invited to sub for the sidelined glee club, they one-by-one succumb to the temptation that is “Regionals!”

9 pm Bones (Fox) | One more Repeat to Revisit, if only for the birth of Brennan and Booth’s daughter, Christine. Everyone together now: Awwww.

9 pm The Ricky Gervais Show (HBO) | Ricky, Stephen and Karl talk about overzealous sports fans, and Karl clues the guys in about his saliva-volume test. (Side note: Typing “Karl” and “saliva” in the same sentence kind of grosses me out.)

9 pm 20/20 (ABC) | The title of tonight’s episode: “Heaven: Where Is It? How Do We Get There?” My answer: Frank Pepe’s pizza, and take I-95 to Exit 46 (New Haven) and follow your GPS (global pizza system) until the smell of melting cheese welcomes you home.

10 pm Comedy Bang! Bang! (IFC) | Seth Rogen (Knocked Up), Will Arnett (Up All Night) and Topher Grace (That ’70s Show) hang with Scott and Reggie.

10 pm The Dead Files (Travel Channel) | In this unscripted series, a homicide detective and a psychic medium form “a paranormal team like no other.” This week, they try to help a teen who fears he’s opened a gateway to evil at his home. Does he have a vampire lover he’s willing to sacrifice? Because I hear that takes care of it pretty speedily.

10 pm Louisiana Lockdown (Animal Planet) | A prisoner needs the warden’s approval to hold a wedding behind bars. Alternate episode title: Say Yes to the Orange Jumpsuit!

OK, so is fonight’s 20/20 about the real Heaven or about where to get the best pizza? It’s time for another NY vs. Chicago pizza debate.

  8. Doris says:

The Nationals host the Colorado Rockies tonight, so that’s what I’ll watch. If it’s rained out (HIGHLY unlikely), I’ll watch Say Yes to the Dress and my TiVo of the season finale of Breaking Pointe (watched the Nationals beat up on the San Francisco Giants!).
