  • Well, it looks like Deb doesn’t turn him. I guess being in love with your adopted brother makes do crazy things.

    • here’s hoping they drop the whole “in love” thing, I really am ok with pretending that never happened!

          • were married, they’re divorced

Comment by Jess – July 6, 2012 11:22 AM PDT
          • Except they’re not. They divorced in season 5, it was rumored that Michael C Hall had an affair with Julia Stiles and have only recently started to get back together. So that makes things even more awkward and a little bit sadistic on the writer’s part, seeing as season 6 took place while they were split up.

      • haha that made me chuckle. But I couldn’t agree more!

    • Did anyone actually believe that there was even the slimmest possibility of Deb turning him in? I don’t understand why people keep bringing this up in the comments section, did you think it would be a season of Dexter on the run, him trying to prove his innocence while blaming someone else, or him behind bars???

      • God forbid another season of something like prison break -_-

      • I agree. Dexter comes close to being caught – but it never happens. That’s what keeps us coming back. I would be very disappointed if the writers took the common road to jail/defense/escape.

        • Deb eventually joins Dex. It’s either that, or she goes to jail for obstruction of justice (hiding evidence), What’s it going to be Deb?

  • love all the Deb shots. when in doubt, MORE DEB.

Comment by cj – July 2, 2012 03:59 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • Agreed. Deb has been the best thing about the show for a long time now – just a pity about the ‘being in love with her brother’ nonsense.
She’s such a great character I really hope the writers realize it and give Jennifer Carpenter better material to work with!

      • Deb – the best thing about the show? Sure, she’s great but she’s an overkill as soon as she has more than a large supporting role. I mean, all she does now is weep, whine and wobble her voice. She was so much better in the early seasons. Now she’s humorless, dour and to make things worse, she’s adopted this mannish demeanour. That Chicago Mike guy had it right. She looks ready for a hoe down.
