On TV this Tuesday: Hanna’s beau has a Pretty Little fit, Naya Rivera helps Glee Project explore its sexuality, Franklin & Bash deals with daddy issues (and a pretty cool guest star), TV Land gets a blast of Hairspray and MasterChef cheaps out.As but a supplement to our original features (linked below), here are nine programs you might want to check out tonight.
8 pm Pretty Little Liars (ABC Family) | Caleb’s not happy about Hanna’s visits with Mona — will his girlfriend come clean about her agenda? Meanwhile, Aria dreads telling Ella that Byron and Meredith are dating — but better spill quick, before Ella finds out some other way! — and Emily finds some solace after meeting Maya’s cousin Nathan (played by All My Children/Vampire Diaries alum Sterling Sulieman).
9 pm Rizzoli & Isles (TNT) | Jane and Maura have to work quickly to solve a crime when young female professionals dressed as dolls turn up dead on public transit. (And I have to seriously think about which part of that sentence is the least skeevy. Tough call.)
9 pm MasterChef (Fox) | What kind of dinner can $20 get you? Find out when the contestants have to create a budget meal with mystery ingredients.
10 pm The Glee Project (Oxygen) | Glee’s Naya Rivera helps the contestants
tap that tap into their sexuality as they prepare to sing a mash-up of Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger” and Kelis’ “Milkshake.”
10 pm Franklin & Bash (TNT) | While serving as a judge in small claims court (long story), Jared makes a ruling that eventually lands him in court with his dad (played by Beau Bridges) once more. RoboCop’s Peter Weller guest-stars as a rock-n-roll impresario.
10 pm Retired at 35 (TV Land) | In the Season 2 premiere, Alan’s plans to win back his estranged wife hit a snag when he finds out she might be seeing someone else. So he recruits kids David and Amy (new cast member Marissa Jaret Winokur, Hairspray) to investigate.
10 pm Craft Wars (TLC) | Series premiere: Host/executive producer Tori Spelling presides over this competition, where contestants have to be pretty arts-n-crafty in order to take home $10,000 (which can buy you a lot of hot glue sticks).
10 pm Love in the Wild (NBC) | From the network: “The couples barter for love.” Does that sound dirty — and quite possibly illegal — to anyone else?
10 pm Our America With Lisa Ling (OWN) | This installment of the docuseries takes a realistic, non-MTVified look at teen pregnancy in the United States.
