    LOL. I love it!

  2. Deena says:

Lordy, this is so bad LOL

  3. Alex says:

LMAO! Brennan is going to have a cardiac arrest when she sees it…Booth is probably going to have a good crack up!

    • June says:

Ikr? I LOVE IT. It is suppose to be taking the p*ss of cheesy movie. They done good!

    • June says:

Haters chill the frak out. It suppose to be a cheesy take on Hollywood movies. DUH. Srly.

      • Alex says:

Yeah, it’s fun and that’s how it’s supposed to be. Looking forward to this epi!

        • lauren says:

I seem to recall hearing that many Bones fans are from foreign countries so perhaps our American humor is lost in translation? That’s my bet.

          • I’m from a foreign country, not another planet! LOL
Believe the auto irony is pretty clear here ;)

          • Yursare says:

Don’t flatter the American humour, it is not that complicated.
Also, there are just plain people with no sense of humour at all, in all countries. As well as just straight up horrible jokes that are just not funny (not this trailer, though, that one is adorable, with all the meta irony and supernarrative distortion).

          • Wow – american humor can be tricky as brain surgery, I guess – sometimes the rumours about american audience are true…

  4. Lynn says:

    voiceover was kind of lame……

  5. eridapo says:

Wow…. This is bad…. I know it is supposed to be a Hollywood version of the book, but it just seems that HH and Co. don’t know what is funny or dramatic anymore.

    • Melissa says:

They did a really bad spoof of Brennan’s book. If you don’t get it, you’re either close minded or an idiot.

      • Eridapo says:

No I get it. It is a spoof, but it is an unfunny spoof.

Bones used to be a show with witty humor and episodes that were above and beyond the procedural genre, You might be willing to accept the mediocrity the show has fallen into the last couple of seasons, but I do not, I fell in love with a show that produced episodes such as “Judas on a Pole”. “The Graft in the Girl”, and “Aliens in a Spaceship”, What I want is for the show to live up to the promise that it showed on its first four seasons,

When one considers what the show is doing now as acceptable, then one can not help but feel sadden about the course of the show.. This attempt at humor just shows how far it has fallen.

        • Narf says:

          Then stop watching.

          • Eridapo says:

I have like millions of others.

          • Narf says:

            Good for you.

          • meleliot says:

@Eridapo – What you fail to realized is every show goes through growing pains and missteps; and taking chances that do not pan out. A true lover of Bones (or any show that you have spent 5 years watching) would accept this and give them a chance to get back on track. Frankly, you won’t be missed with that attitude!

BTW – you not liking the spoof is bad on you. Obviously enjoying cheesy parody is lost on you who is of such lofty thoughts. I (part of the masses) thought it was hi-larious! :)

        • Jillian says:

@Eridapo Just because you think that Bone sucks doesn’t mean that everyone else does. Many people still love Bones…and they are still holding their own against 2 huge reality shows and comedy. Not many other shows can do that.

          • eridapo says:

I did give the show the time to get back to what it once was. I experienced the nightmare that was season 6 with Blondie and the one night stand pregnancy, and I saw the first 3 episodes of this season. What I realized was that the show that I fell in love with was never coming back, and it was replaced with this parody that still calls itself Bones. The actors are the same, but Booth and Brennan are not.

I understand the characters are supposed to grow as a show evolves, but in Bones’ case they regressed. Character and story continuity were sacrificed for the sake of the frat house humor that is now prevalent. Where are the cases that drew you in? What was once a strong female role model has been lost, and the Brennan we most often see now days is robotic and clingy. Booth who was at one time a wounded character with a heart of a lion is now short temper and snide to friends and even at Brennan.

          • meleliot says:

@Eridapo – you do have a point, Booth, Brennan all the characters have changed. They were all a new unit at the beginning where they were polite and reserved with each other, not daring to make a joke a little on the “blue” side, or snark at each other. Now they are comfortable and don’t get offended by someone elses ill-temper, personal dig, etc., The saying “familiarity breeds contempt” is a saying for a reasong. Brennan has changed the most as she has been exposed to Angela, who has softened her considerably; she has learned to work a little earier with others, and she fell in love with Booth, which does change a person, whether you like the change or not. I still think Brennan is a great character. I do agree with you on this: the first seasons’ stories were pretty fantastic.

          • hisytorynut says:

Yes, you have your reasons, Eridapo, for how you now feel about Bones — as does everyone who watches or no longer watches.
But … why do you keep telling us how you feel over and over?
Start a “Wake for the Bones Show That Was” blog and wail away with your fellow wailers.
I’m still a fan and still ready to party when they do what they can do well.

        • Melissa says:

What I don’t get though is for someone who stopped watching the show why do you even take the time to read let alone comment on blogs about it?

  6. katy917 says:

That is such a cheesefest! :/

    • Sandra says:

Are you for real? It is meant to be a cheesefest movie trailer. Some of you guys have had a sense of humor by-pass. Relax.

      • katy917 says:

Yeah I DO get the concept, my comment was neither positive or negative, just making the statement that it is a cheesefest with a little confused emoticon to display my mixed feelings about it. I think you’re the one that needs to relax, for getting so bent out of shape over a blasé and ambiguous comment. I actually like cheesiness if it’s done correctly. I’m not convinced this was the right amount of cheese or if it was perhaps just a tad over the top.

        • meleliot says:

I understand Sandra’s comment. It was your emoticon that was the real head scratcher. Your comment was completely appropriate – yes, it is a cheesefest. And we should just agree to disagree on the amount of cheese.

  7. Jillian says:

OMG. That was the worst movie trailer ever!! If that was a real movie…I would not see the movie. Looking forward to the episode though.I love this season.

  8. George says:

    LOVE Ashley Jones!

Miss my Bridget (the ONLY decent Logan)

  9. 1mars says:

Lighten up folks, it’s supposed to be over the top and cheesy. Can you just imagine what Booth and Brennan will think of this. They will both be horrified.

    • Jillian says:

Yep! I know it’s really bad…but it’s supposed to be that way. I know I’m really going to laugh and enjoy this episode, before we a get a really dramatic season finale.

    • Annie says:

@1mars Finally the voice of sanity! Thank you. If people are taking this trailer seriously, go outside, get some air. It is meant to be over the top cheese. I mean srly. Lighten up guys….I think it looks Hollywood fantastic!

    • Diva16 says:

my guess is brennan will be horrified but booth… he is going to laugh his pants off!!

  10. gina says:

This was so awesome! hahahaha gonna be pretty awesome!! Brennan will freak! Love Bones for spoofing itself!

  11. Maris says:

Lmaoo can not wait fir this episode!

  12. Sarah says:

I’m sorry. I really like Bones, but this is bad.

  13. sofia says:

No wonder Brennan is mad about the movie. This trailer is the worst thing ever. Cette une merde.

  14. Naya says:

the trailer is hilarious. can’t wait for the episode to air

  15. John Berggren says:

For a second your article had me believing there would be a bones feature film between seasons. Now it makes sense.

  16. Lois says:

This is going to be a good spoof……can you imagine how Brennan is going to react!! LOL Should be fun. I can imagine Booth is going to have to smooth things over in this one! I love hearing……best selling author Temperance Brennan! :))

  17. Paula! :) says:

Where have they their heads? Are they crazy? OMG, nobody can replace Emily and David!

  18. jackie says:

this is gonna suck, not the same with bones and brennan, now I know their not real, they should have played in the movie,

    • Abby says:

Booth and Brennan are not actors! LOL. These are characters from Brennan’s book…. david and Emily could not play them.

Are people really THAT confused here?

Bones is doing a spoof. And using one of Brennan’s books to do it!!!! LOL

    • Narf says:

Do you not understand the concept of a spoof?

  19. DJ Doena says:

“I’m Christian Bocher. I’m portraying the character of Raymond Gunne, who portrays the character of Dr. Levant, which is based on the character Daniel Jackson, portrayed by the actor Michael Shanks, originally portrayed by the actor James Spader…in the feature film.”

Since then I’ve been able to think four-dimensionally. ;-)

    • meanma says:

Haha! It took me a minute to figure out that quote, and the source. I tried explaining the concept of the episode to my son, but he didn’t get it. Apparently, he needs more training in thinking four-dimensionally. :)

  20. madiemma says:

Read this too fast on my phone. At first, I thought they were making a real Bobes movie and this was the trailer. Needless to say I’m really glad I reread the article before commenting. Crisis averted. Lol

  21. Claire says:

Ha ha I would NOT go to see this movie ! Bones is gonna freak out ;)

  22. anon says:

Is David Boreanaz going to be killed in the season finale? I’m scared.

  23. Jules says:

First the poster look similar to 24 redemption
Then the overall storyline of the Hollywood movie is a predictable/boring copy of the wonderful episode of
    The X Files that DDuchovny wrote/directed himself…
    So…I’m not interested….

  24. Pablo24 says:

I don’t buy this. This whole story seems to be a little bit farfetched.

    • Narf says:

How is the concept of Hollywood taking a good book and turning it into a really bad movie “farfetched”?

  25. Maria Dyson says:

I’m pleased to see the number of fans who got the concept intended. As so many stated, this is to be a SPOOF! Enjoy the series while it lasts, folks.

  26. jeni says:

I just love the whole “kathy reichs wrote books with Temperance Brennan that were then made into a TV show in which Temperence Brennan wrote books featuring Kathy Reichs and then THOSE books were made into a (fictional!) movie featuring Kathy Reichs” thing. So very, very fun!

  27. madbengalsfan85 says:

    Brennan will blow a gasket…I can’t wait!!

  28. kartiknama says:

  29. mieniemuis says:

i’m so gonna die when I notice Brennan freaking out! This trailer doesn’t really make me wanna watch it, and it doesn’t look like containing forensic anthropology… ;) But Bones’ reaction will be EPIC!! Can’t wait!

  30. Christina says:

Brennan’s going to have a stroke, LOL! Gonna be a great episode!

  31. CarlagUK says:

It is so interesting to read so many different takes on this. It really is a georgous and outrageous spoof. I do agree though that we do need to return to more challenging and nail biting cases.for the next season. This season I think has been light because of having to deal with Emily’s real life pregnancy and setting out Booth and Brennan’s personal relationship. This is now established and in my opinion, has been carried out very successfully. Therefore we need to get back to the crime and punishment angle, which is of course why we all started watching the show in the first place. Step it up writers dazzle and excite us again with your brilliance.

  32. farsia2010 says:

    ROLF!! OMG, i love it!!!

  33. Kori says:

I’ll be honest, it has been a couple seasons since I have watched Bones faithfully, not because of the writing or the storylines, just life getting in the way. I catch an occasional episode when I can, but out of order I feel a little lost. However, seeing this spoof trailer has me wanting to watch Bones again. To see how far they have come since I left them and to see the events that have led up to this. I remember with The X-Files did a similar spoof (Hollywood A.D.) and though the episode by no means was the best, it was still an entertaining and enjoyable episode. I hope no one blasts me for my opinion or my sporadic loyalty to the show, but this spoof did what it was supposed to do. It peaked my interest and if even for a day, brought one more viewer to the time slot.

  34. Gisele Glen says:

oh yea bones is gonna freak!! I love it!

  35. For those of you who complain about charactors changing you’re idiots because people evolve and charactors are going to change through the years and if they didn’t it would be a bad show in which it is a great show because they make the charactors grow–and by the way–this episode is supposed to be a cheesefest and corny and all that because it’s a meta episode–it’s not meant to be serious or lightly humorous, this episode is going to be loads of fun and humor like the one when they were all in the funeral home in I think season 4, don’t quote me. that was over the top too but it was hilarious. Besides, it’s supposed to be teasing hollywood and if you have a problem with some old fashion, over the top humor then maybe you didn’t like the show to begin with because this show has always had episodes that were over the top–Not every episode has always been dramatic or slightly funny–besides, I think this show has even gotten better this season and that seems impossible because I really liked season six–It was one of the best acted seasons of the series. This season is perfect and people are getting what I thought people wanted–B&B are together–With a child no less. This season is epic. Although I’m a bit nervous for what they’re going to do in the finale with all of david’s tweets. Not that I think he’s leaving the show because obviously the show would be done then but bones always does something different in their finales. Another reason I’ve always respected this show..they take chances that most other shows don’t. the only other show that I believe took these sort of chances ended this year (One Tree Hill)

  36. angelstorm says:

lol it’s terrible ! It looks like they’re shooting each other right at the beginning !

  37. KaeT says:

Yeah… I’m probably going to get yelled at for this, but I really don’t care, this looks like it’s going to suck. Not the spoof movie, the entire episode. I don’t know, I’ve missed a lot of this season and this trailer doesn’t make me want to start watching it again.

I started to watch this show because it was a fun show that was still smart with some fantastic dramatic storylines. It was the only show I watch that has its main character buried alive. But then it hit the season four slump (and I greatly disliked how every single episode ended with such an easy confession) and it hasn’t recovered.

Quite honestly, if the show ended this season, I really wouldn’t care.

    • Wendy says:

Not going to yell. Everyone has a right to their opinion. I disagree with yours, but that’s cool. That said, and I don’t mean this in a snarky manner, but maybe you would be happier to quit watching now. I loved the more serious toned earlier seasons more myself, but I know that there’s no going back now. Probably just the nature of a show on for a while. The tone changes. I still like the characters and some of the arcs, but I know some can’t adapt.

  38. Michael D. says:

OMFC! This season has awaken my ol’ love for Bones. I stopped watching when Hannah-Drama was introduced, but I’ve been sucked in again. This episode looks like it’s going to be a blast!

  39. Audrey says:

With whom are they going to leave baby Christine? With Max? They can’t leave her alone and go to LA! Not with that Pelant guy out of jail!

  40. suds says:

    sounds like a porno hahah

  41. For crying out loud people … they’re taking the piss!!! and its bloody hilarious…

  42. Stephen Nathan could never be lame. He did that commentary. Great episode especially Booth & Brennan kissing in front of valentines.
